Actually thats a newb A n00b is someone who posts stupid, ignorant comments or questions and types in 1337 speak. Generally they have only 3 posts, but there's a large and important distance between a n00b and someone's who is simply new and has the potential to develop into a valued MX poster
yea but most of em come in to spam
plz..oh god plz dont let this turn into another st anger thread, i thought we were finished with this years ago, but if im totaly off base here go about your business and: \m/ METALLICA ROCKZ \m/
we try to settle the st. anger ghost but it keeps poppin up |
that was when hetfield was in his prime man!!! his best voice was in and justice for all. hes losin his voice now.hes still good though. :thumb:
Hetfields voice: The timeline- Kill em All Ride the lightning = Definitley not the voice of a budding lumberjack, slightly higher than nowadays but did have an excellent punk rock gravel scream quality, maybe a bit like beavis, but down a few notches, and singin about death and stuff rather than his weiner. Master of puppets And Justice for all = Playing all those arenas, and with certain 'changes' he started to notice about himself in the shower, the tough hetfield has started to emerge. Metallica Load Reload S+M = Hetfield now has a near pitch perfect voice on album and live. With all those pies he ate with bob rock he's got a much deeper voice now. Also pleasing to note that live performances are peppered with "YEE-AAHHH!", "BE-BAAYYY!" and surley the mark of one of the greatest frontmen of all time, "OOOOHH!!!" |

has every body voted for master of puppets album on the top 100 group a?
|
^^Don't say that. Otherwise all the non-Metallica fans will claim that the poll's been fraudulently affected

I can only think of one more off the top of my head: King Nothing |
hmmm, it would appear the solos in Unforgiven kick an ample amount of arse
|
Got the S&M DVD today. OMG How awesome is this?
|
BTW, someone said about that No Life Till Leather Demo. I have all songs already from it except Metal Militia, plus Motorbreath is half-cut. And it does NOT isnclude No Remorse and Whiplash. I guess they were released in late 82. Oh there are rumours that 'tallica recorded lots of covers in early days in Ron's garage plus a few of their own songs which were not the exact versions of those we hear on KEA.
Hmmmmm, I'd like to hear that. Lars is a cunning biatch ! Please Mr. Ulrich release those demos :p Just for record, on NLTL James sounds as a tortured Raptor (dinosaur) baby. Dave plays very good though  |
^^ Oh Burdcheese, awesome choice ! Congrats ! :thumb:
Although I haven't watched whole of that :upset: |
Is their cover of Let It Loose on the No Life 'Til Leather demo?
|
^I don't have Let it Loose, but I guess the recorded it plus Sucking My Love on that tape.
|
I downloaded it, it was recorded in Ron's garage i think
|
^You kidding right????
Where did you download that? Please do a favour to a 'tallica fan :p |
http://www.metallicaworld.co.uk/music_downloads.htm
There you go buddy, just scroll down till ya see Let It Loose |
Thanks man, the 4 horsemen will not forget you :thumb: :p
|
Did you download the first ever live recording of Dyer's Eve too? I know i did :p
|
BTW, if you want those NLTL songs, download them from Limewire. You can also find there a live 1982 version of Hit The Lights with a horrible quality (however it's a very very very rare thing), Motorbreath live from 1983 with Dave on vocals and video concert of Metallica 1983/03 at the Stone SF with Dave on lead guitar (whole concert is 302 MGB).
|
I used to have Limewire, but for some reason now it keeps screwing up. I use winMX however, am i likely to find them on there?
|
Yeah I got Dyers Eve and Trapped Under Ice last year.
|
I feel sorry for Ron, he was the guy paying for hotel rooms and driving them to practice and they all got worked up with him like he was doing something wrong
|
Oh, I don't know about winMX......unfortunately
Yeah, I feel sorry about Ron too. That's kind of weird, I know we won't have 'tallica the way they are without Cliff but that kind of attitude always pis$es you off. Ron was OK and after some time he'd probably improve his skills but they just said goodbye to him. It's unfair. I mean, like the rhythm guitar/vocalist guy in my band.......he sings very good but he screws up everthing on guitar. However I think I won't ask him to leave because we started this whole thing together. I'll give a chance, if I loose my patience I'll leave myself. They treated bad towards Ron  :upset: |
i know this is gonna sound stupid, but why did dave mustaine leave metallica? i was just wondering.
|
i know this is gonna sound stupid, but why did dave mustaine leave metallica? i was just wondering.
he didn't leave, he was thrown out. i heard somewhere james said it was "drug problems" but it's probably just because of an arguement or they just didn't like him |

i got Live Sh*t, it's pretty awesome IMO, Live Sh*t > S&M |

IMO, Live Sh*t > S&M
oh yeah, i think i remember hearing something about dave being a crack-addict or something. but if dave were still in the band, who do you think would be the singer, since mustaine is the singer for megadeth. |

i like james better than dave, so i hope he wouldn't be. i also don't think metallica would be anywhere near as big if dave were still there |
