Last night I was loving Joy Division - Closer. Now I'm loving Choking Victim - No God, No Managers.
I need to get Closer. Well, Christmas is coming.

Speak of the devil, I'm finally into Joy Divisions Peel Sessions.

Elvis Costello - My Aim is True (bad)
Yeah, I don't understand why that album gets all the praise that it does.
That album is awesome, you fools.

Doctor D. 12-06-2005 06:53 AM

Lately I've been listening to a lot of the Butthole Surfers and Moistboyz, who, by the way, are a straight up rockin rock band with Dean Ween. It's somthing I completely recommend.

Does anyone know of a site where I can download zipped albums? S site like that is necessary at school. Thanks in advance.

OrbDragon 12-06-2005 08:14 AM

I'm listening now to a live Calexico bootleg. Black Heart played with electric guitar sounds so f*ckin awesome.

asymm 12-06-2005 10:32 AM

Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks
Robert Pollard - Motel of Fools

sketchyjoe 12-06-2005 11:47 AM

Old Crow Medicine Show - Old Crow Medicine Show

Awesome Folk/Bluegrass revivalists.

6Stringer 12-06-2005 11:59 AM

13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds Of...
The Zombies - Odessey & Oracle
And add in some Quicksilver Messenger Service.

I've been trying to get in to some more psychedelic music.

Bukowski 12-06-2005 12:43 PM

Minor Threat - Complete Discography
Dead Milkmen - Death Rides a Pale Cow
Guided by Voices - bee Thousand

And i've listened to Labor Days by Aesop Rock about 20 times in the last 2 weeks. Best hip hop album ever? In my opinion, yes.

Little Man being Erased 12-06-2005 03:30 PM

Iron On - Oh the Romance
Blink 182 - Blink 182
Reel Big Fish - Cheer Up!

Interstate 12-06-2005 03:42 PM

Some Daoist music compilation I have on my Ipod.

It's relaxing - too relaxing in fact, I fell asleep listening to it on the way home from work on the train and almost missed my station.

Zappa 12-06-2005 03:42 PM

This morning I listened to some of Cure for Pain by Morphine.

Then on the way home I was getting a ride from a friend, and she played a mix-CD she received from another person. The first song on said mix was "Buena," one of the first tracks from the aforementioned album. Kind of weird, but pleasant.

Wanker 12-06-2005 06:31 PM

I've been listening to a lot of Iron & Wine and Rachel's recently.

I just noticed that I'm signed up as a subcriber on last.fm. But I don't think my tags got deleted.

Dog 12-06-2005 06:35 PM

How can you tell if they upgraded you or not?

Outkast - Aquemini
Bob Log III - Trike

Edit: nevermind I just saw the message they sent me. Cool.

Wanker 12-06-2005 06:41 PM

Yeah, it's pretty wacky. Not that it's going to be all that different or anything.

sketchyjoe 12-06-2005 07:22 PM

I got upgraded even though I'm on Cluster One and only people on Cluster Two were supposed to have lost tags.
Cursive's Domestica
That and Circle Takes the Square's As the Roots Undo are tied as my favorite for this decade.

Such an amazing album.

Tangy zizzle 12-06-2005 08:35 PM

...they're still the best metal band on earth, bar none baby.

Anxious 12-06-2005 08:36 PM

It contains two of my favorite SY songs, Becuz and The Diamond Seaa.

W.M.A 12-06-2005 09:56 PM
