Whenever i ask somebody for a band who is like Porcupine Tree they refer me to Tool.


Also, I got 32 on the Math portion of the ACT and 17 on the English.

i'm not a christian, but we were putting on an event at a church in town last night, and there were these 2 really hot girls with the alcohol & drug abuse commission there, and there was like nobody going to their booth, so i went and talked with them for a while and i had the keys to the basement of the church incase we needed more chairs, and then one girl wanted to go see the basement and then we went down there and she sukd my peen.

in a church. i feel dirty now.

Umm, no you didn't. The highest for both english and math is 36 i believe.

I just checked and i actually got 30/36 on Math and 24/36 on English, i was thinking of something different for the other scores.

And my composite was 23.

also, that is not a good score imo

28 is a very good score.

its just enough for a $3000/year state scholarship

3000 a year is nothing at all.

Churches make me feel so guilty about everything :upset:. I feel bad if i swear or talk about anything even remotely inappropriate (although this doesn't happen during actual service hours, just while we're doing stuff at the church such as choir practices, etc). I even avoid wearing thongs when I go to church, even though wearing normal underwear with dress pants = ftl, because I felt guilty about it when I did before. Idk, religion stuff makes me feel like a sinner about everything :(


What are these ACTs you guys are talking about anyway. I'm assuming they're some sort of lame standardized test.

i guess, in a strange way, that might actually be the point. Makes you realize how many "sinful" things you do normally.

We don't have that kind of stuff here really. All we have are provincial exams in grade 12 for english and math. I got a 91 on my english and a 77 on my precalculus. I was kind of pissed about the precalc mark, but I don't care anymore because I'm just glad to be done math forever.

36 is a perfect score. college admissions usually look at either/both the ACT and the SAT. a really selective school will only accept cumulative (average) ACT scores of 30+, some even 32+.
The ACT is comprised of a math section, a reading section, a sciences section, and as of 2005? or so, a writing (essay) section. I feel like I'm missing something, though.

Seems weird that the marks are out of 36. Our provincial exams are all out of 100

That kind of sucks because you will only get a good score if you're well rounded. If you're totally awesome at english or something, but not so much at science, it would bring your average down and could affect your future even if what you want to take in college has nothing to do with science.
