finished my 11 song ysi post- I rule |
Eleventeen, don't you have to buy Source? Or maybe I'm thinking of CZ. Either way, I don't wanna buy it.
Cain, what version are you uploading?
Michael Hedges' version. It's pretty good, and for a guitar/composer he's got a decent voice. :) Better than Bob's anyway. |
Lucas: My computer isn't authorized to play it, probably because you bought it on iTunes.
hooray
finished my 11 song ysi post- I rule
Yep. Thanks dude. I think you've converted me. Jom put me on the Update list for the first time today! :thumb: I'm in! |
Lucas: My computer isn't authorized to play it, probably because you bought it on iTunes.
Uhh... then get iTunes? Or another player that he described.
Burn it to CD, and then rip it again. That's how you get rid of the protected file, and then get it to mp3. This goes to anyone, by the way.

Jom put me on the Update list for the first time today! :thumb: I'm in!
Fantastic, we have the estrogen version of larsagi now. |
Lucas: My computer isn't authorized to play it, probably because you bought it on iTunes.
****. If you'll be willing to wait until later today, I'll burn it to a CD (assuming iTunes will even let me do that) and then reimport it into iTunes. I should be able to change it then, since the file gets rewritten into AIFF format when burned to CD. |
Uhh... then get iTunes? Or another player that he described.
No, it won't play on my mom's iTunes because it was bought (not burned) on his iTunes. EDIT: Thanks. I appreciate it, Lucas. |

Thanks. |
Thanks.
I wasn't aware he was talking about you, actually. He abbreviated your name and put it in lower caps. I got confused since he was quoting from the YSI thread. I thought it was some silly user in that thread. :) See my ninja edit. I totally didn't know he was talking about you. |

Wow, that Melodeath thread is sad... so many noobs... they cannot grasp the concept of "sub-genres"
I said "All Gothenburg is Melodeath, but not all Melodeath is Gothenburg," and Kittens In Microwaves said "Head explodes," I mean seriously, it's like the concept of Squares and Rectangles, or Rectangles and Paralellagrams..... agh... density pisses me off. |
I try not to label music at all. It ends up being annoying. You like what you like and thats it. The only thing I label is myself a metalhead. |
I get up to get some lunch and miss a bunch of stuff. At least it's not going as quickly as it usually does, or I'd be lagging several pages by now.
I try not to label music at all. It ends up being annoying. You like what you like and thats it. The only thing I label is myself a metalhead.
Well, as an English minor I'm wired to think in terms of genres. Truth be told, subgenres really only exist for nerds like me. For example, you'd think Horror would be a decent moniker. No need to get further than that right? Wrong, not for us nerds. Not only do we have subgenres, we have sub-sub-genres. Horror begets Gothic Horror, which begets Horror Gothic, Terror Gothic, Female Gothic, and Neo-Gothic. |
And TMS is cool!
:D :naughty: caught that a little late.
For example, you'd think Horror would be a decent moniker. No need to get further than that right? There are always sub-genres. |

I'm not kidding. That wasn't a typo. Redundant as it may sound, there is a subgenre of Gothic Horror called Horror Gothic. |
I saw 30 Seconds to Mars last night
Great show. I had a lot of fun. |

Thats just retarded, though. |
I'm the English nerd.
I have to take a course on pirates next year. |
Awesome! Where do I sign up?
Thats just retarded, though.
Would you like me to explain the difference between Horror Gothic and Terror Gothic? It can be done in two sentences.
I'm the English nerd. I have to take a course on pirates next year.
If you bring a Running Wild album into that class, I will respect you forever. |
Would you like me to explain the difference between Horror Gothic and Terror Gothic? It can be done in two sentences.
Please do, I'm curious. |
I'm listening.
|
Horror Gothic is supposed to teach us to understand evil by giving us very explicit illustrations of pure evil (i.e. Dracula by Bram Stoker). Terror Gothic relies on using tension, suspense, and hiding information to make us fear evil (i.e. The Italian by Ann Radcliffe).
|
Got it. Pretty simple once explained.
