I always thought Family Guy was pretty overrated.

My mom made me miss family guy, and I'm not tuning in in the middle. She will see hell for this transgression.

Hahaha, that looks like him alright. He was telling me about this car accident he got into a few years ago. He went flying through the windshield and was in a coma for a few months. He has this huge gnarly scar on his head because of it. It shows when he talks... he's a really cool guy but he's a little off the ball. Doesn't surprise me he wrote that thing the way he did. Plus, that whole band are really more of metalheads, and metalheads hate the ninja mosh.

And while he does attack the whole institution of "ninja mosh", he really seems more pissed off about the meatheads/tough guys that take it too seriously and crowd mosh and ish. That I can understand.

So my research paper is due tomorrow and I haven't even researched. Thanks MX!

oopyman 05-02-2005 12:37 AM

New Family Guy was surprisingly good. I thought it would be terrible. American Dad was pretty lame though.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-02-2005 12:40 AM

My theory on American Dad is, it's just like Futurama. When it first came out people thought it sucked and the Simpsons was god. Now look at it. I still liked AD, but I believe it will be apprciated in time.

oopyman 05-02-2005 12:42 AM

I hate the Simpsons, but Futurama was great.

obese_breasts 05-02-2005 12:46 AM

Very few people I talk to like Futurama, it suprises me.

BuddyBigsby 05-02-2005 01:10 AM

Futurama is terrible.

AChildAndHerLawnMower 05-02-2005 01:58 AM

Futurama is awesome. I love the episode where Fry sees his dog from the 21st century and then goes to clone it but realised it lives for years after he disappeared so he stops the cloning, but the dog really waited for him the whole time, it's so sad!. :upset:

But the Simpsons are a lot better now, there was a time when they were really, really bad.

BuddyBigsby 05-02-2005 02:06 AM

Check out this vid from a show I went to on Friday. Really fast old school hardcore type band called Eaten Alive. This is how we roll in Cali. You can see me at the bottom left for a second or two towards the end of the sing along. Red shirt. Not the fat guy with glasses. It's so catchy... "I! EAT YOUR FACE!" You gotta love that.

Family Guy>Futurama>Simpsons

Family Guy's view on British porno cannot be beaten.

40 oz 2 freedom 05-02-2005 11:17 AM

Simpsons is better than both, and Futurama and Family Guy are about equal.

I won R'N'R - The Infamous And Notorious on white vinyl for $2.25 on ebay.

Rancid Dan 05-02-2005 11:22 AM

Yup. Simpsons is the best

RetiredAt21 05-02-2005 11:53 AM

I think Family Guy, then the Simpsons, and then Futurama.

The Autumn Offerring deal has hit a big pothole, but I'm trying to retain some hope. They are using Tommy from End Of All to finish off the tour. They have no idea if he's in permanently or not, not to mention that End Of All has said they are not breaking up a million times. It's not looking too bad but it's not looking very good either.

How can you not think Futurama is funny?

cbmartinez 05-02-2005 01:52 PM

Futurama is alright. I like the alien news anchor who keeps threatening to kill people and the other anchor always just laughs.

BuddyBigsby 05-02-2005 01:59 PM
How can you not think Futurama is funny?
The alien news anchor and the crab guy are the only redeeming qualities. It's a boring show, and a lot of it seems forced. It has it's moments, I admit, and I'll watch it if nothing else is on.
