That's a Badmoon original.
|
The jam band thread is in other music.
That's a Badmoon original.
It's an ancient Badmoonian proverb. |
What does everyone think of James Gang? I remember someone reviewed Rides Again a while ago.

They're only good with Joe Walsh. |
I haven't heard enough of the James Gang.:(

T'was me. It was one of my older, not as good reviews. |
Just shell out $10 for their greatest hits, you won't be disappointed.
|
No, if you'd ask me, each song on Rides Again is fabulous. And I'm pretty sure they don't have every song off the album on their greatest hits.
|
Stop talking.
And can anyone not stand "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who? It never clicked with me...every time I listen to Who's Next I find myself skipping it because it's so whiny and self-absorbed. I can't believe so many talk about it when a gem like "My Wife" (Maybe I'm the only one who loves that song...) flies under the radar completely.
Go away forever. |
That's Great Piper At The Gates ofDawn is my favorite Pink Floyd album, I love the Syd Barret era
Bike is such a funny and awesome song :p
I'm very impressed by it so far :) Pink Floyd never made a bad album. :) |
Go away forever.
agreed |
No negativity. I like "Behind Blue Eyes" and "My Wife", but "Behind Blue Eyes" has a better climax.
|
I'm very impressed by it so far :)
Pink Floyd never made a bad album. :)
I'd agree but I havent heard much of Momentary Lapse of Reason or Atom Heart Mother.:) |
I actually agree with the earlier statement about Behind Blue Eyes. I think it is overrated.
|
I really like PATGOD. Although the Syd era isn't my favorite, I really like his style of music. My favorite song is probably Matilda Mother.
EDIT: I like Behind Blue Eyes. I don't find anything overrated about it. |

No way, Behind Blue Eyes is pure genius. It's not their best song but that doesn't mean that it's not as good as people say that it is.
|
I would've liked to see Syd stay with the band.......but then there'd be no other Floyd. Don't get me wrong, I like 70's Floyd the best but it would've been cool to see what else Early Floyd could acomplish.
I wish there were 2 Floyds.:( |

|
Maybe the Limp Bizkit cover ruined it for me.
I don't know about that. A bad cover doesn';t make the actual song worse. In fact it might make it better by comparrsion. |

Cool.:cool:--------------> :rolleyes: |

I'd like to see pictures :thumb: And today on the Simpsons, this guy had a heart attack, and Marge was like "somebody perform CPR!" Then Homer looks nervously around and starts singin "I see...a bad moon...rising..." Marge is like "Not CCR!" and he keeps goin "I think..we're in for nasty weather.." It was funny. |

That show has so many classic rock refrences. Like the rock and roll summer camp episode. |
How Come no one is talking about classic Rock?
photbucket won't let me sign up until the middle of the night 9hours away) what should i do?

How Come no one is talking about classic Rock?
We are. Can't you see the classic rock conversation along side the normal conversation? And this is more of a classic rock forum community thread than anything anymore. |
How Come no one is talking about classic Rock?
We are, just in a very strange way. |
So I have Hendrix's "Jimi plays Berkly" but I want another DVD of his to compare it to. Any suggestions?
|
ok, now i will look for ones where i didnt shake too much.
|
I agree with the n00b now. You guys have to stop making unrelated posts that are about 10 words long.
If you need help hosting send me the picture on AIM. If you don't have AIM, get it  edit: fine, post them and then comment on classic rock please. |
