my bass sounds so good on it, it's exactly like i wanted it to sound. bass pods + someone who knows what he's doing eq-wise and micing-wise = pwn.


studio was cool. i'm 6' tall, the studio is 6'1" with a big air duct running right in front of where my amp was, so i had a little head space between 2 air ducts and a pipe for recording. other than that i was sitting/laying down. sounds wicked in there though. and i smashed my head on the air ducts the least out of everyone.

Sick.


How long til the guy sends em out do you reckon?

1 of the songs is completely done and mixed (they had all recorded it a couple months ago, i just laid down the bass for it yesterday), 1 is like 80% mixed, and the one we did today got a 2-minute-mix just for us to hear it, and will get mixed tomorrow.

i was going to get a copy of them the way they are now but he had to leave as we were packing up our stuff. they'll be up on myspace pretty soon though, probably.


it's a pretty cool mix of songs. one of them has an african kind of feel to the music, one is kind of like muse, and the other is kind of early rhcp-ish. and the one we were going to do but didn't have time to is like rage against the machine.
