Sometimes I like the think the only reasons I'm alive today are because of 2 songs that let me know I'm not alone in how I feel about where I live:

Division Street - Thursday

I hate this place so much but those songs let me know Geoff felt the same way but he's doing OK now.

Also, the album Jane Doe by Converge helped me out tons. I still cry at the end of the very last song when Jacob screams, "Run on, girl, run on."

I swear he wrote that album about Brittany and me.

Yeah...the science department there is insanely good, specifically the chem program (one of the top 10 best undergrad chem programs in the nation). I'm going to double major in chemistry with a concentration on biochemistry and physics. :D

Butler: Yeah, you mentioned that. Congrats! Holy Cross is something like that around here. I know it's ranked high on the list of best colleges in the nation on the Princeton Review thing, I'm just not sure what number.

I'm still disappointed about Yale but whatever.

I read a statistic online. I'm mad at myself for forgetting where, but it said:

Statistics show that 44% of freshman admitted into Yale in 2006 were from nations outside of the US. Only 10% of those students were from Canada and The UK.

Basically, almost half of the Yale Class of 2010 is from nations other than the United States.

I'm as liberal as they come but that upset me. :evil:

I don't know. I mean, think about how many fabulous school we have in America, and how spread out our top students are among them. Then think about how many great schools they have elsewhere (none, really). So all of those out-of-country kids are probably the best of the very best.

Honestly, I have no idea, but I bet it's because you're a great student. :thumb:

I know exactly why I was rejected:

I'm white, my mom and dad are together, not a minority, have no learning disabilities, don't know any alumni or anyone important, and I lived close to all the colleges I applied to. :(

Maybe that's me being cynical or it's just me being brutally honest.

I have OCD with the most random things. If there's pizza, the crust must be continuous without any breaks. If someone takes slices from the pizza and the pizza's crust has breaks in it, I have to push the pizza together. I go crazy.

What else...

I always turn the light on, off, then back on when coming into a room.

I dont know if things like that are considered OCD, they seem to be more or less of pet peeves. I cant stand that either, i cant see why people have to take certain pieces that mess everything up.

So this medication i took for a rash only works if i sweat the medication out of me through my pores. I dont sweat easily, so to make it happen, i turned ont he shower with hot water, closed the bathroom door, and did sit ups. In about 10 minutes, the room was filled with steam, i had super-tight abs, and i didnt sweat much.

It's my favorite of the three, but only because I listen to it the most I think. It's sick looking too.
