Mister_Che 01-07-2005 04:56 PM

I don't trust Ebay, sorry. I searched for a collectible Batman figure for my collection and it went for $500. Needless to say, the comic book guys I go to found one within a week and are selling it to me for $30.

I wonder if the can find a full size stadium for me to buy for a cheap price. If they could find Batman, they can find a colosseum...

Mister_Che 01-07-2005 05:08 PM

Umm, next topic:

When you talk to people in school about Metallica, and you mention a song like Leper Messiah only to see a fanboy look at you like you made up the name, what do you say?

kid: Hey what are you listening to?
Me: Metallica.
kid: AWESOME!! What song?
Me: The Thing That Should Not Be.
kid: What, man you made that up. Lemme hear.
*listens in
kid: Man that ain't Metallica, that doesn't even sound like Kirk.
Me: Kirk?
kid: Yeah the lead singer dumbas.s!

Burdcheese 01-07-2005 05:10 PM

Thing that bothers me the most is that Metallica finally came around here and i was waiting about 5 years to see them right? Then you have all these preps who never listened to metallica before that went to the show and they get back sportin tallica gear and sayin how hardcore their into them and all this.
Posers piss me off!!!!!!!!!!!

We all do, the posers just pop up everywhere with their "loyal" following. They have no idea that there are songs outside of Master of Puppets.

Burdcheese 01-07-2005 05:26 PM

I've never really encountered these Metallica posers you all speak of...

... and for that I am truly grateful

ironsandman32 01-07-2005 05:30 PM

hey i just bought a line 6 spider 2 amp and in the manual it says one of the channels models a Mesa Dual Rectifier and i later found that metallica uses that same amp!

about those posers, KILL 'EM ALL!!!

ytsedrummer 01-07-2005 05:55 PM

People at my school like new Metallica and always brag about how good St Anger and Enter Sandman is, when they haven't even heard old Metallica, and probably won't like it when they hear it and won't see the talent Metallica has and how creative their albums truely are. These guys at my school listen to ****ty Nu- Metal and then say how good Metallica is and they still listen to Good Charlotte and Simple Plan. They don't even know what music is for Christ sake. Everybody at my school just like the music that's POPULAR*cough for the moment*They don't get open minded about their music. They wouldn't enjoy Dream Theater,(My favourite band which I have tried to get so many people into but they just don't open their ears and try something new)
Me and my best friends Steve and Paul are the only ones in the school who are actually open minded about music. We are big Metallica fans (not sure how much Steve likes them though) and we try to get others into older Meatllica but all they like is the songs that Metallica is known for along with other famous songs by good bands like Fear Factory, only song they actually know is Cyber Waste, and they think Fear Factory is some new band when they have actually been around for almost 15 years, same thing goes for Metallica. Sorry for ranting for so long, its just that posers piss me off so much.

How the hell can you not encounter them? They're everywhere! They're friggin invasion for Christ sake!

no_talent 01-07-2005 06:04 PM
They're everywhere! They're friggin invasion for Christ sake!
They are everywhere, and if there is one group of people I'd like to slaughter, it'd be them. But I guess we'll just have to live life normally... and just accept the fact that true Metallica fans are slowly dying out. *kills self*
