I actually think [I]Valkyrie Missile[/I] is one of the weaker tracks on the album, although the last minute or so it the best thing Tom's ever written. (Slight exageration)
My favourites were [I]The Adventure, It Hurts[/I] and [I]Start The Machine.[/I]
[I]The War[/I] had a pretty cool main riff, but the rest of the song bores the **** outta me.
I really liked [I]WDNTW[/I] at first, as it was just so relaxing to sit back and chill to, but now, it's just so boring. (And to those who are gonna say something like "Why chill to AVA when there's so many other bands that are like, meant for that...?" I don't like those other bands, so please don't say it.)

Are [I]you[/I] serious? You listen to pop-punk, and blink-182, and you're saying a power chord riff is lame!? Name one blink song that isn't mostly powerchords.
I like pop-punk, I like power chords. Go to anyone in the metal forums, and they'll tell you how lame and untallented powerchord riffs are, to them. Then I'll tell you how lame, over-comlicated, and just boring most of thier music is, to me. I'd assume if you lsiten to pop-punk, you'd at least accept the fact that > 90% of the bands will use mostly powerchords, and just enjoy it, coz it sounds good.

Most of Tom's noted riffs are just based off power chords anyways. I'm sure he can play better than that (because everyone can) but it wouldn't fit the music so he doesn't.

Or he possibly can't in which case I would laugh in his face.

There are all kinds of live recordings of him screwing up songs that are so simple that a <insert witty person/onject here> could play.


You can actually here him (on occasion) going "Goddammit" or something when he messes up.

Tom may be a "bad" guitarists.. But barely any1 can make riffs and songs like him... His creativity is by far a larger asset then all those people in guitar forum playing "skilled music" which i believe sounds **** compared to toms little riff and 4 chords..
