Little Man being Erased 04-17-2005 04:56 PM

I liked it.
Off subject (well, not really): Has anyone ever seen the movie Cannibal Holocaust?
Good question.
Ohh yeah I was told godspeed were used in 28 days later but I never knew which song it was because I didnt know them at the time, so it probably passed me by, and I havent seen the film since. Do they actually use East Hastings?
Nah, just parts of 'The Sad Mafioso.' They don't even use the whole movement.
yes, we rented that about a month ago. it's pretty messed up, and the main theme was stuck in my head for days.
Yeah, the incredibly gruesome images just stick in your head and basically hammer the main theme into your head and makes it stay there.

The worst part was when they raped that virgin, ran into her corpse (the stake through her body and out her mouth was especially freaky) and then just laughed at her.

Also, it's really scary how those were real animals being killed. The tortoise was fine because they chopped it's head off first, but it was just gross how the guy kept stabbing the muskrat in it's chin and through it's head until it died.
Hey there everyone, I read about not posting introduction threads and considering I like mostly Alternative and Indie music I thought I'd post in here to introduce myself.

Errm well I play drums and write lyrics for my band and my favourite bands include:

Glassjaw
Cave In
The Bronx
Reuben
Biffy Clyro
QOTSA

I also like my ska music like Streetlight Manifesto, Big D and the Kids Table but I suppose thats more for another forum
This guy's in valleley's band.

Ack.

I haven't seen it but seeing a few stills seemed to be enough for me (looked into it about a year or so ago). I couldn't imagine actually seeing it in motion. Where did you find it available to rent anyway? They don't domestically sell it, do they?

Good ol' new avatar. Sorry to change it so soon after "Dark Side of the Crunk" made its debut, but I like this pic too much (even though I had to crop it a lot :()

It's always weird seeing a friend or loved one in a casket because in your head you try to tell yourself you don't believe what you're seeing. To think that the person laying in there will become some decomposed flesh and bones is really odd.
Hey guys.
Hey dude. I was just about to ask LMBE where his slack brother was. Good to see you 'round. :)

AndreTheHyena 04-18-2005 02:45 AM

I was going to start putting yousendits on my blog (http://www.xanga.com/andrethehyena) for all of my friends back home, but I'm really lazy.

On a related note (laziness), does anyone have "Pneumonia" by Whiskeytown up for downloads? I'm achin' for a copy, as mine is back home. And soulseek? Puh, more like soulsuck.

leiferikson 04-18-2005 09:24 AM

So I was watching Tom Hanks' seminal film, That Thing You Do!, last night and was intrigued as to who actually wrote the the title song as its pretty catchy. So I watched the credits and it was Adam Scheslinger (sp?)! I assume its the same guy from Fountains of Wayne, thats cool if it is.

I also watched Barton Fink last night, wtf?! So the hotel, or the whole of hollywood, is actually hell right? I dont get it

Zmev 04-18-2005 09:54 AM
