I'm actually pretty excited for Graph Theory and Modern Physics. There are a few pieces of eye candy that are taking classes with me next semester. If I didn't have a girlfriend... :naughty:

Yeah, I ended up listening to it through my surround sound and I wasn't impressed. Apparently the label has put mixing is on-hold until the guitarist/lead singer gets off his ass and transcribes his songs for copyrighting. That would explain the partial mix quality.

For the sake of decent recordings, let's hope that they come out better than Particle Man's. If not, at least this was just a session gig for me and I still got paid. :lol:

There are a few different copyrights. Specifically, you can copyright the recordings and/or you can copyright the composition. His label wants to do both.

The recording copyright is the weird one because you can claim that you wrote the song and lyrics, but it's separate from the composition copyright.

So without going into major details, I told a story during a discussion after work on Monady that was understandably taken out of context and basically I was put into a position this morning where I was almost either going to have to resign from work or be dismissed. In the end that didn't happen and all parties involved are seemingly all good again. But damn sometimes a guy has moments where shit gets kinda dark; I was really thinking for a second "well, I'm gonna end up unemployed for quite a while now" and it was a major relief to end up not having to go that way. In a weird sense it actually makes me appreciate my job a little more too. Weird.

I know what you mean, Matt. I definitely don't like my job, but I'm very glad to be employed full time and have the schedule that I do. I know a lot of people that aren't able to find work, or at least steady work, so I consider myself to be in a pretty good position.

Also, I'm playing a show tonight. I love playing live so often.

The show last night was amazing. The turnout was really good, the crowd really liked us. Only a couple of the people there had seen us before and we were really well received. A lot of people were coming up to us and telling us after our set that they enjoyed it a lot. We had to leave not long after we played, but we heard from someone there that one of the bands after us gave us a shout out while they were on and the crowd was really loud cheering for us.

I'll probably put up a video or two from the show soon.

I just don't like how Boss seem to be the 'go-to' pedals, when there are often much better/more interesting things about. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with a lot of Boss stuff - some of it is infact excellent.

But tbf, I've had an ODB-3 for £30 myself. Didn't keep it long, but you have to try these things out, right? :)

I think it's definitely superior to the bass blogger I was using as my main distortion before hand. It's got a nice bit of bite to it.

The only Boss pedal I have any use for is their tuning pedal.

Oh, on a similar note, need some advice for my next purchase. Current set up is digitech compressor, boss odb-3, ehx memory boy, ehx bass blogger and behringer eq. Can't decide whether to just sell my bass blogger so I have some money for christmas, or to sell it and replace it with a bass big muff.

Some kid stuck a note to my back with "freak boy" written on it. I thought it sounded cool, so I misspelled it and adopted it as my stage name.

I think I'd like to get a new snowboard next season. Any recommendations? I'm looking into a Ride or K2, 155-159, and the camber isn't so important to me (although a modified or Rocker might be nice).
