Yeah, that's definitely more of a friend type thing.

Deth 08-30-2009 07:43 PM

wtf does that have to do with anything

adb 08-30-2009 07:43 PM

attraction is important, then commonalities
wtf does that have to do with anything
I'm saying its near impossible to share everything in common with someone, even if they're your brother/has the same audience in a marketing sense

nevertoolate 08-30-2009 07:44 PM
not even my brother is exactly like me and I basically raised him
have you not got both your parents adb?

adb 08-30-2009 07:47 PM
attraction is important, then commonalities
coming from the relationship expert right? trust me bro, commonalities are a very miniscule thing. the only good they really do is give you something to talk about at the beginning.

AA-12 08-30-2009 07:52 PM

having **** in common isnt really necessary but its nice.

adb 08-30-2009 07:53 PM

I don't understand how its not an important thing

if you're in a relationship you're going to need them in the long run

why do you think there are so many divorces

lack of commonalities, especially when children come into play

RouteOne 08-30-2009 07:54 PM
coming from the relationship expert right? trust me bro, commonalities are a very miniscule thing. the only good they really do is give you something to talk about at the beginning.
I have found that commonalities are HUGE. The more things you have in common, the more you'll usually (not always) get along and have fun.

Nepenthe 08-30-2009 07:56 PM

because its not like, 'oh hey were both chaos gnostic, so we get along great'

things you have in common play no part in how you get along, and ultimately how you feel about each other

Anglachel 08-30-2009 07:56 PM

trust me guys, women are all the same, every one of them, and if you dont agree with my experience you're wrong

who she is and who i am have nothing to do with whats important

AA-12 08-30-2009 07:56 PM

personalities are most important. my current relationship so great because its not about stuff we have in common, just about that we actually really care about each other and dont bullshit around with everything. my previous relationships were all about changing to fit each other's view of a perfect partner.

nevertoolate 08-30-2009 07:56 PM

yeah me and my missus have different tastes in heaps of things but it all works well for some reason

masscows 08-30-2009 07:59 PM

I would want to partner up in the longterm with a girl I could be friends with if not anything else, meaning she has some key things in common with me.

nevertoolate 08-30-2009 08:00 PM

thats exactly what I got

masscows 08-30-2009 08:02 PM

lucky ****

nator 08-30-2009 08:03 PM

i want a girl who will cart me around when i finally reach obesity

Anglachel 08-30-2009 08:05 PM

i want a female clone of myself

RouteOne 08-30-2009 08:05 PM
because its not like, 'oh hey were both chaos gnostic, so we get along great'

I see it as just the opposite. Try being in a relationship with a really religious girl when you don't believe. I've tried it, and it was a major problem because she kept harping on me about it. Political philosophies are important to to a certain degree. In the end, the more you have in common, the more you can relate to each other.
trust me guys, women are all the same, every one of them, and if you dont agree with my experience you're wrong

This is dumb. Who you are and who she is are the two things that make a stable relationship.

Also to say all females are the same is just showing your inexperience with them.

Anglachel 08-30-2009 08:08 PM

ron i wasnt serious

im saying you guys are faggots trying to claim one option is certainly better than the other

adb 08-30-2009 08:08 PM

ron showing once again how he's the only one with any common sense tbh

RouteOne 08-30-2009 08:10 PM

masscows 08-30-2009 08:10 PM

Ron is probably the most socially wise person in r&m tbh

adb 08-30-2009 08:12 PM

yeah I think so

Deth 08-30-2009 08:14 PM

I consider ideologies and interests completely differently, first is important, second not nearly as much
