Nah, superpeer I'm pretty active I haven't been on to much in the last couple weeks because of computer troubles but, I joined in 2004 and just reviewed threads and didn't really post that much. Not bad. I worked for a few hours today and sent off an application to a music summer camp to maybe be a guitar teacher/counsellor. Things are generally on the upswing since I've been sick.

I was just in Guitar trying to teach someone how to read notes. It's really, really easy for me to teach them in person. On the Internet, it's wayyyyyyyyyy harder. I love teaching this stuff, but it's frustrating not being able to show and write the notation in person for them, and to play it for them.

But hopefully I introduced them to a cool song that's only three (maybe four) chords. One of the first songs I learned.

Yep...Gotta love this place when most of the people are gone. It's really peaceful. It's nice though because a lot of my friends also decided to stay for intersession.

Intersession lasts from Jan 8 to Jan 29. Then the second semester starts and goes until May 25 I think.

Well, the official break lasts from whenver your last exam is (usually December 20st +/- 3 days) to January 8th. Then, if you want to take an extra class or two (it can be a fun or serious class), you can sign up for intersession classes which go from January 8th to the 29th :D

Oh, that's a kind of neat program. I doubt I could take any of my real bitch classes in that short period though unfortunately haha. I've given up on taking fun classes at uni because every music class I register for I get bumped out of to make room for music majors...and then I have to get an override to get in when it's not even a full class. I hate our music school.

Hmm, that sounds about right with how late you go in May heh. I was wondering if you guys went longer or something.

I guess it's nice that Peabody is a school under JHU but the students don't take classes here.

The best part is I'm technically a music minor...but every time I try to regiter for 2nd sem music theory (which is required in the minor), it says the class is for music majors only and I'm not allowed to take it. Touche music school.
