The Gigantour is bombing bad. Only 700 showed up to the first show... not good for large venue shows. I don't even think the tour will last all the way through.

700, ouch. Was it a good show though?

RavenousMetalist87 07-26-2005 02:18 PM

I blame these for Gigantour's poor status x_x

Sounds of the Underground
Ozzfe$t (XD)

My car adapter for my IPod is grand. I was singing along to Phoenix Rising (the D666 song) and Shroud of Urine.

Ah I love it. I was listening to the 'deth and Kreator along with Destruction this morning.

Gotta love Belkin's accomplishment

RCA 07-26-2005 03:02 PM

Play D666's "I Am The Wargod" at a stop light.

Driver of other vehicle: *glances over at you*

You: "I AM THE WARGODDD!!!!" *krieg*

Good idea. I think I'll try that tommorrow
700, ouch. Was it a good show though?
I dunno, I wasn't there. I just heard that. Next show didn't have too many more.
You can still get good seats in my city too... so we haven't sold too too many, and Ozzfest can't be blamed for that. We're not getting Ozzfest.
Too many ****ty bands like Bobaflex are the biggest ones to blame for this.

And a test...
I'm absolutely hot on

Edit: I thought so, what in the hell is this "I'm absolutely hot on" **** whenever you type I love?!

RCA 07-26-2005 03:22 PM

Yeah, there needs to be less shitty bands.

NP: Mekong Delta - True Lies \m/

only 700?

Dragunov: when are you getting back from Germany..... I want to see the new Heroes of Thrash! Who are you planning on doing next?
Dragunov: when are you getting back from Germany..... I want to see the new Heroes of Thrash! Who are you planning on doing next?
I'm going to do either Heathen or Mekong Delta, with Festering Sore's Chlorine For The Gene Pool as the unknown/underrated album.

metal-militia 07-26-2005 06:29 PM

i think you should do Mekong Delta as less people have probably heard of them than Heathen.

RCA 07-26-2005 06:32 PM

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Plus, since MX users have a soft spot for original/different bands, I think they'll take a quick liking to them.

metal-militia 07-26-2005 06:33 PM

yeah im sure they will... Mekong Delta were quite different to the thrash that was around at the time.

RCA 07-26-2005 06:36 PM

Indeed they were. One of my favorites of all time! (as hinted by my avatar and other discussions we've had)

metal-militia 07-26-2005 06:45 PM

well when i gave them another listen i liked them more, but they aren't one of my favourites.

RCA 07-26-2005 08:26 PM
well when i gave them another listen i liked them more, but they aren't one of my favourites.
Yeah, that's totally fine. I guess there's something that MD have that make me approach them more.

NP: Mekong Delta - Kill The Enemy

metal-militia 07-26-2005 08:53 PM

I like the earlier stuff, but if i remember right some of the later stuff is a bit wierder. I suppose its just an aquired taste.

Rising 07-26-2005 08:57 PM

would anyone know if ''Demolitia'' is already a band name and or a name for anything ?
thanks

NP : Megadeth - Tornado of Souls ( not bad )

RCA 07-26-2005 09:01 PM

Make it Demilitia.

m-m: Yeah, definitely an acquired taste. The classical influence really rears it's head later in their discography.

metal-militia 07-26-2005 09:05 PM

your avatar is the front cover of The Music Of Erich Zann isn't it?

Freezing Moon 07-26-2005 09:25 PM
I think Freezing Moon (TheChoSenOnes) was doing guitar, and ryan on vocals.

I'm pretty sure FM posted the guitar tracks a while back.
I completely forgot about that cover.

I posted a guitar track, but I wasn't all that satisfied with it and I didn't and still don't know the second solo...

I could probably re-record the rhythm/first solo, but it would be nice to have drums to play along with to help me with the timing...

RCA 07-26-2005 09:39 PM
your avatar is the front cover of The Music Of Erich Zann isn't it?
Correct! :D

FM: I've got Fruity Loops/Drumkit From Hell, but I'm not familiar with using it. I can try to program something, but don't count on me delivering. :(

Freezing Moon 07-26-2005 09:45 PM

Do any of the threads have their songs done? I think everyone was working on it and then people just kind of forgot/got lazy.

I think the Tool thread have a couple done.

FatalEnergy 07-27-2005 12:43 AM

well.....Gigantour ****ing ruled. Megadeth, Dream Theater, and Symphony X owned.

The Megdeth setlist wasn't too different from the first time I saw them. Although they did play SET THE WORLD AFIRE and it ruled. They totalyl beefed Tornado of Souls, and had to restart. It was kind of funny. Good fun show though

Apocalyptic Raids 07-27-2005 12:52 AM

Sounds fucking awesome.

Set The World Afire! My favourite Megadeth song..... i wish i could've been there to see it.

RCA 07-27-2005 08:48 AM

Of all the crappy Megadeth songs to mess up, they go ahead and screw with Tornado of Souls.

Wait til after the new Heathen album comes out cause that's when people will be interested in the band more.
Wait til after the new Heathen album comes out cause that's when people will be interested in the band more.
I'll probably end up doing Heathen later on. I want to do MD because they're lesser known, and more unique than Heathen. I think other R&M regulars will take to them nicely, as most of them have a soft-spot for stuff that is different.

a8o 07-27-2005 07:28 PM
That Megadeth compilation you have, IMO, is not very good. It doesn't even have Take No Prisoners, My Last Words ( ), Good Mourning/Black Friday ( ), and a HUGE disappointment:

IT DOESN'T HAVE TORNADO OF SOULS. x 135426357366744^2432434.89

The fans that voted for the tracklist that that album has are indeed huge fuckwits.
Remember....the way it was voted was by album, it wasn't like here's a list of songs. You had to pick a couple from each record. That's why some later **** got on and ToS got left of.
