It was way worse back then people talked about Opeth and Metallica all the time. Everyone was into entry level metal and classic rock and there was all that "hurr put in her butt :naughty:" PWNED crap.

People have much better taste now and it's not nearly as gay in my opinion.

This is actually pretty accurate.

I think this place was a lot better back then with all the old regs. The music we listened to may have been "entry level" but we enjoyed listening to it nonetheless. Nowadays when the power metal thread gets bumped, maybe me, Tyler and Jason make a post in it and then it disappears again.

I like it better now because we can recommend each other a lot of good music. Not to mention no metallica threads.

This place is only getting better because everyone is leaving.
