I haven't downloaded it yet, but I can link you. I have heard all good abot it so far.
The folks at the Exodus forum seem to think it's great, though you must keep in mind these are the types that think Defiance are a masterwork of a band. I might download it now.
Do it! Although "new" and "Venom" do not go well together, I'm still curious as to what it sounds like. Yes, a majority of the people at the Exoboards are clueless gits. |
Yes, I've also been looking forward to this new Venom as well
King Diamond shirt I ordered http://www.wayoutpost.com/catalog/king-diamond-rare-import-tshirt-mercyful-fate-p-255.html |
My Exouds shirt came today in the mail.
It owns all. :D |
Easter Sunday. I forget the exact date though x_x
Easter Sunday ey? I'm on there site, I see nothing for tourdates. But I'm going to ticketmaster to check it out. EDIT: Aha! There it is. 15 dollars. I'll have to try and convince my dad that seeing them is worth the drive. He likes Bonded by Blood, but he's a stickler for gas. |
Apparently Exodus are playing the Bay-Area on april 15th, and I'll be in San Francisco then, but I'm not sure what date. :(
I hope I'm there on the 15th. |

I don't know. I'll only be there for a few days.
|
I'm seeing Exodus again in May. In fact, if I have a guitarist before then, I might just be able to open for them!

It was a Slay Team shirt. I'd say it's worth the drive though, Butcher. I'm going with my friend but I hope that she doesn't bring her dick for a b/f because he's a ****ing jerk to me. The last time I tried to be nice he was like worse than my friend Lorenzo, bossing me around. err. assholes need to be shot. yay for me. :chug: |

Just snatch his *** in a bear trap.
NP: Ravage - Get Fucking Slaughtered "URRGH, FUCKING HEAVY METAL" haha Cheers, Tyler. |
Has anyone listened to any new Sadus? I downloaded the song "Down" from a YSI link posted in metal-rules and I'm afraid it sounds like a big sell out...
|
New Sadus is boring and uncreative so far.
The new Venom sucks. Hard. |
In what way exactly does it suck?
damn, someone name an old band still releasing decent material (without repeating itself)! Why dont they quit for gods sake! |
Metallica definitely.
|
how could I forget them
|
Overkill (forget their latest), Razor, Heathen, Sodom, and Destruction come to mind.
|
/feels like an owned greekie :D
NAILED TO THE FUCKING CROSS! \m/ |
\m/
Awesome song that. and yeah, new Sadus sounds really boring from the songs on their myspace.

HEATHEN SIGN TO SEASON OF MIST RECORDS!!! Season of Mist is proud to announce that one of the finest thrash legends from San Francisco's Bay Area, namely HEATHEN, freshly inked a deal with our label. Some must recall that Heathen is one of the most unique bands to rise from the Bay Area thrash explosion of the 80's/90's, whose 1987 groundbreaking debut album "Breaking The Silence" went on to sell close to 100,000 copies worldwide. Reborn five years ago, the band is now looking to rise up once more and reclaim the throne of thrash metal, and Season of Mist will be on their side! More info at www.season-of-mist.com
As far as I know we were in talks with them but didn't sign anything yet.
interesting... |
When is Lee going to get back to Heathen and release the new record?! I don't want to say he's wasting time with Exodus, but damn....I want that new Heathen
NP: King Diamond - Omens |
Argh! Looks like I have to wait another 6 weeks for my Torture Squad cd. The bastard cancelled my order.
|
Which Torture Squad album is it? I only have Pandemonium, which owns.
|

That's why I have my buff female doberman pinscher. She takes care of everyone by eating them whole. Hiiiiiiiiiideeeeeeeeeeeeeeehoooooooooooo! |
In what way exactly does it suck?
Lots of crapcore and more or less annoying riffage, and repetitive song structures. As I said, "new" and "Venom" do not go well together. |
mm, when I heard about "New Venom" my first though was:
:-\ |
I will make a note to stick to the classics.
BLACK METAL! I think I had too much sugar this afternoon. Either that or I inhaled something that is like crack and now I can't control myself. |
Probably both :-P
NP: Exhorder - The Law Exhorder are awesome. Though I prefer Slaughter In The Vatican to The Law. |
Yeah me too. Thats such a great cd.
Np-Slayer:Crypts of Eternity |

thanx. |
I've got By Inheritance, which has Khomaniac on it. My internet is really slow but, and I've got other stuff to upload, sorry :(
You should be able to find it easily on Soulseek, though. |
By Inheritance
Amazing album :) |
Yeah, I love the really epic and feel it has.
|
Fear of Tomorrow is better.
The Almighty is a classic. I will make you buuuurn, from hell, there's no return! So yeah, I'm not listening to much thrash at the moment. I seem to be stuck in a Danzig phase at the moment. NP: Nothing, cause I'm at work! |
I could never really get into Danzig. But as of today, I have gotten into DRI. I was worried that I wasn't going to like them, because I thought they were punk... but I listened to some tracks off of Thrash Zone and I thought they were really good.
|
The first 2 albums are sheer punk to the bone. When Crossover came out they became the hybrid of Metal/Punk and then came more into the Thrash obviously with Thrash Zone.
Go! Don't be late...last one out! of! the! starting gate! Or something along those lines. As far as Danzig goes, I've always had a soft spot for their music, for some reason. Danzig I and Danzig II - Lucifuge are classics for me. |
I only have Thrash Zone.
Thrashard! |
5000th post in the best thread evar.
|
atm, the only thrash bands i listen to are;
Kreator, Vio-Lence, Megadeth, Metallica, Testament, some Slayer, Iced Earth. can you reccomend me some more thrash please? |
