Ozzfest, no. Razor are too good for that trendalicious corporate bastardization of live metal.

What about Wacken? Wait. I think they played there already  It'd be really crazy if a crapload of our favorite thrash bands actually played at my school's coffeehouses. That would pwn \m/>_<\m/ I want to be in a thrash band now  |

Perhaps not Ozzfest, since they let Mudvayne on the bandwagon i question their taste alittle, but who in this thread wouldn't love to see the most badass speed/thrash band to this date live in concert? |

I think since I'm the resident Mekong Delta whore, I should do something in that area. |
Well, when I went to Ozzfest, I'm sure the older crowd would be more accepting of Razor. The newer crowd like all the kiddies into the "core" stuff, they'd be like "get these old geezers off the stage!"
However, I'd piss my pants if I saw Razor or any other thrash band live before I die. I WANT TO SEE DESTRUCTION! grr... Ozzfest's lineup last year was pretty much cooler than this years. I won't ever forget seeing such a great mainstage lineup (minus SJR) |

That's the spirit though. As for coffee and thrash, load me up on just a mocha frappacino and a Pepsi and ****! I can't control myself for the rest of the day  Perfect idea before I go see another good heavy band. EDIT: Speaking of Razor, I'm listening to Nowhere Fast as we speak  |

You question a thier taste a little? Dude, fucking Will Smith is playing Ozzfest. It is the just about the lamest tour ever. Gay Nu-metal, and even gayer hardcore emo is all that is there. Metalcore I choose not to even acknowledge, because I find it to be the dumbest thing......be metal or don't be metal, don't be halfass metal. Black Sabbath is just about retarded, because they played the same setlist for the past 8 years and Ozzy can't sing anymore. The only thing that saves the tour from being 100% crap is Maiden |

I guess you could say that. The only 2 bands on the Second Stage that really impressed me were Lamb of God and Lacuna Coil. Everyone else made me feel like just lying down and taking a nap XD Flame me for my comments, but I guess it's probably that weird musical taste of mine. Priest really were good though. I enjoyed their set. My cousin was all crazy for them because he saw them when he was my age at the time way back in the 80s. This was like a dream for him because of the Reunion. |

WILL SMITH IS PLAYING AT OZZFEST!! BLASTHMY!!! Keep in mind Black Label Society is there with Maiden to attempt to save the ozzday. but I'm sure that we can agree the second stage is pure nu-metal shit and knowing they allowed so much crap on the line up, it'll be hard to convince me to EVER attend again, unless Razor is playing  |
Most of ozzfest looks pretty crap to me.
I'd really like to see Maiden live though. /hasn't posted in here in a long time. NP: Dismember - Like an Ever Flowing Stream (Death Metal, but still very cool) |
Wacken > Ozzfest.
True Metal. Better Bands. But Too Far Away XD |
Is Wacken anywhere close to Iowa? I doubt it though :upset:
|
Dismember \m/
One of my favorite albums ever right there. |
Is Wacken anywhere close to Iowa? I doubt it though :upset:
Haha, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. If not, no, it's in Germany. |
Wacken is in Germany. Guess who's going to Wacken? ;)

Look at my avatar boy! Also, I got a right kick in the sack a few weeks back. A friend of mine that's gone to europe for 3 months recently went to Metal Camp in Slovenia and saw heaps of great bands. Sad thing is that I got him into Metal and now I hate him. Hate him more for the fact that he's also going to ANOTHER festival in Italy sometime soon. What a bastard he is. |
x_x
That really sucks, ThrashMaster. I know guys who are going to Ozzfest this year. I pity their poor souls XD NP: T.D.S. (Take It As You Will) - Vio-Lence One of the many songs I shall try to blast when I'm driving tommorrow. :D |

Doesn't Destruction play Wacken every year?..........I need to go, badly. Too bad I live 657854649756456745687569567956975675656795 miles away

Speaking of Destruction,
Doesn't the intro to Eternal Ban remind you of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC a bit? I think it does. I need to seriously have my hearing examined x_x |

Not this year. :( Whoa, you live on Alpha Centauri? /lame joke I need sleep. G'night everyone. |

That's the cool part about it though  Homage to the Gods!
/lame XD I still got the tab to it, so now I must learn it or I shall fail as a thrash lover. |
hey, if you record it, I'll put the bass on it
what ever happened to the Bonded By Blood cover? Lazy bastards |
Hmmm, yes! good old Destruction. Listening to Reject Emotions now. Love the chorus! Der-der! der der derrrr!
Sexcellent! |
hey, if you record it, I'll put the bass on it
what ever happened to the Bonded By Blood cover? Lazy bastards
Once I get an adapter, I can plug my amps into my PC and record it. Sad thing is I can only lay the rhythm to it, and maybe the intro if I am really good like I think I am. I can't solo :upset: What ever did happen to the BbB cover o.o; ThrashMaster has a good point there with Reject Emotions :thumb: Quoting him - "Sexcellent" |
I think Freezing Moon (TheChoSenOnes) was doing guitar, and ryan on vocals.
I'm pretty sure FM posted the guitar tracks a while back. |
hmm....well, he hasn't posted in a while. I guess we'll have to skip this contest.
NP: Megadeth - Good Mourning/Black Friday GIGANTOUR TOMMORROW! |
