It depends where do you want to start. If you want to start with their metal albums then get Bergtatt. The album released after that, Kveldssanger, is one of the most incredible folk albums ever. If you like Bergtatt then get Nattens Madrigal, their other Black Metal album.

After that they have changed their sound completely. It's not metal anymore but, imo, it's their finest stuff. If you want to try the non metal stuff you could start with either Perdition City or Shadows of the Sun.

Too much of Radiohead and emo indie is getting me depressed to a point i start listening to eminem and big boi.
I need some good hard rock album recommendations,

doesnt really sound like those bands at all but its ****ing amazing so yeah

im gonna be heading on a long train ride tomorrow to go visit my dad for the holidays and im in desperate need of some good tunes to keep me occupied

i've been diggin a lot of rocco deluca lately so anything folk-y like that is good. Anything really heavy and intense is good too.

I've become really interested in trip-hop and dubstep lately as well, but im just getting into it so im not really familiar with any artists outside of Massive Attack and Skream right now.

Thievery Corporation - Richest man in babylon
Burial - untrue
Pulshar - brotherhood

Can rec some more, but I think these should be sufficient.

No problem. Thievery Corporation has some trip-hop elements as well. Actually remove it from the dubstep list and put it on your trip-hop list. And get Sounds From The Thievery Hi-fi first. I can't rec any other trip-hop because I have yet to encounter something that I really enjoy(other than massive attack).

i still need some heavy in the mix though, good DM and melo-death is a must

Dirty Elegance is pretty good trip-hop

i got to really listen to thievery corporation on the way down to cali
that album thievery sounds of the hifi i think.
I really enjoyed it, with the exception of some Rastafarian voice in almost every song. It wasn't bad for the first half of the album, it just got on my nerves after a while.

Dirty Elegance was awesome though. Will def be getting more of their material.
