Hey guys - am trying to become more of a regular in here, so I thought I'd come and say hello in the community thread. So, hey :thumb:

Back on topic - Sci Fi not something I've ever been able to get into, which has always seemed a shame, cos so many people love it.

I just moved into my college dorm, so I've been very busy and have had no time to write or do much of anything recently. When I get back to the part where I have inspiration again, I'll contribute.

Until then, expect not a lot of anything from me.

Hey Tojes, i haven't been on critting much in the past few days. I'll probably be back and more involved in the next day or two though. I still haven't got much on apart from waiting on uni results so i'll probably crit everything on the first two pages over a day or so. Is everyone still giving good crits in here or have most fallen back to the one liners?

Actually yes, most of the regulars/olderrusers give good crits. Cyber isn't around anymore either, and there was this flood of songs that were really, really boring to rate.

But anyhow, Lately some good stuff has come up. I've been busy with school also, so I only crit like, 2 or 3 songs per visit to this forums.

There was this one song that had like 4 one-liners and I was like "wtf". And there was a song that was an epic that pretty much was a pain in the a[B][I][/I][/B]ss to rate. but yeah, everything is on the leash lately.

What happened with cyber? For about a week he crit everything on here and then just dissapeared. And Morrissey hasn't been back in either.:upset: .

At least everyone is critting better now. I've been on, but mostly in the pit, though i've submitted an entry for the Lyrical challenge this time around. I like critting so i'll be back within a day or two. I've been creating a songwriting guide and i'm working on an idea for the guitar forum as well. Once those are sorted i'll be critting heavily again.

Anyhow, Cyber said he was occupied with college and stuff, or something like that. Mozzarella... well. She didn't stand up for her word. Laziness, maybe. I don't know. It's been alright, though.

I just hate it when you come in and :eek: there are 20 new songs in the first page you haven't reviewed. And you want to check them all out, but you come across one of those gigantic-mamothic poems, with terrible grammar and punctuation... That takes you hours to decipher. Ugh.

I really didn't know. It wasn't sarcasm. That's quite random. She doesn't write like a girl. And i don't mean that in a bad way. Girls think differently to guys(words rather than pictures) so things that they write tend to be more straightforward and less imagery rich.

You're morrissey-esque straightforwardness is nice but you also have some nice images as well. Most girls tend to think in words and so write songs in a "storytelling" style and forget to colour the song. Most guys think in images and don't get the point across enough. The few pieces i've read of yours are a nice mixture of both.

Yeah, when I came across the existence of Mozzarela I never thought she was a... well. She. She isn't the kind of person who goes "Look at me I'm a girl" like most of "the pit" girls, and she never actually talks like a female... or at least... well. Everyone thinks that a person with stars and a lot of posts on the internet is a d00d who plays a lot of guitar.

I liked the prog-thing. The intro is particularly great, considering it's Italian (Despite I don't speak it, I understand a lot of things as I'm pretty fluent in Spanish) And the rest of the songs are also amazing. Great writings. :thumb:

:lol: I feel better; if I hadn't just finished two essays and an hour of math I would go critic... but my brain hurts :( . I made myself a promise to spend three hours on Friday and Saturday criticing.
