this is a travisty, the most punk song ever as voted for by radio 1 lockup lisseners is a greenday song, in the top 5 were nirvana, the prodigy, the clash, and the undertones but they got beaten by ****ing basket case. wtf??? its a good song granted but its not THAT good. greenday had 3 songs in the top 10

a) The Decline (NoFX)
b) California uber alles (Dead Kennedies)
c) God save the Queen (Sex Pistols)

and then perhaps Bad Religion, or Pennywise... but certainly not GD... their music is pretty OK, but no way they make the best punk ever...
