besides me actually enjoying actual doom I actually want to join an actual circle jerk, actually.

I enjoy a lot of doom,but a lot of stoner,sludge..etc..as its called ,is FAR from hippity happy fairy rock..i do acknowledge a BIG difference in the generes and listen to a lot of both
For example in stoner,I'm listening to a lot of Atomic Bitchwax ,Baroness,Witch,Sleep,Electric Wizard.Down,Eyehategod,as well as a band called Countach..anyone heard of them?..thoughts?
with Doom,Its St Vitus ,Candlemass ,Trouble ,Agalloch ,and Pentagram that im listening to mostly..but definatively getting into more Doom..but mostly traditional ..

Otis/Sons of Otis is dark psychedelic doom not bad ill listen to more

Centurions Ghost is considered doom but im not sure i consider them as doom from what ive been listening to its like a mix of old 80s metal like celtic frost or venom but slower

I don't like CG.

hmm yeh i dont think i like them much either ive listened through most of their work it just isnt appealing to me much

I was never a fan of CG but after seeing them live about 5 times they finally clicked.

Still with RB related bands, have you heard The Puritan? any good?

The Puritan is like the super-slow, boring RB stuff. So a big thumbs down from me.

Orne is really good. It's more old school Prog rock though with some doomy touches.
