I was pleased to see some good bands in there- i.e. Queen, The Clash and the Sex Pistols

Some townies aren't all that bad, I get along with quite a few that are in my year at school.

But the majority suck hard.

And Craig, you really are teh f00l for missing out on seeing fiddy, being down at the front for it was a funny yet scarey experience.

Funny - he got bottled/booed/chaired
Scarey - townies were trying to start fights and having a go at everyone.

Those that mess up the centre of my town should be shot.

Those that act all trendy and pretend to be intelligent are just funny.

yeah some chavs are ok- I was shoced the other day on the bus I saw a young chav couple(with baby) and the guy sat down but got up at the next stop for some old people

erm Butler...define the difference between a scally and a townie- I see them as the same personally :confused:

The only townies that I get along with are the ones that I spent 5 years in the same class with during secondary school.

Now that I'm in 6th form, some of them are still there but they've grown up a bit, and are more funny than insulting these days.

Ok, well here, a townie is a person who, is most of the time alright, they go like clubing and get pissed, every friday, they listen to dance, pop, and some rock. they most dont were trakies.

Townie = funny, cant talk properly, think they cooler than everything. get pregnant or impregnate at early ages

Scally/Chav = breaks the law, and a lot more dangerous. Same characteristics apply, just add more drugs

how's this for a tie breaker - meat loaf has had a movie made about his life, and his debut album has sold 30 million copies world wide. whereas jess hasn't.

but meat loaf owns ALL of us. not just jess


(if you want to know why i'm saying this all of a sudden, i just bought Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell Live (with the Melbourne Symphony Orchaestra). it's the original album but entirly live, plus 2 extra songs. the solo in the title track is one of the greatest solos of all time, much better than the original (which is still fuggin incredible))

i figured you bought that. Meatloaf owns live, out of mainstream bands anyway.

you are entirely right ben, he does own live, i've seen him twice (once in 2002 and once in january of this year). he's fuggin AMAZING.
