Go here and go to Zepp Thing for a weird treat.

EDIT- 1000th post in thread!!1!!!!!11!11 w00Tz0rZ
How do you have 1000?

I only have 444. I'm slippin.

And I really like this Nugs site. I've heard of Robert Randolph and the Family Band from a friend, but I didn't know they played this kind of music, cause he likes OAR and Dave Matthews and stuff.

But this Press On song is really cool. :thumb:
No Grateful Dead. :(
That's an injustice! The hippies will protest! (as the always do)

Actually that is stupid. 500 songs and no Grateful Dead...

Badmoon 11-21-2004 09:45 PM

No, don't compare any of the bands on that site to OAR and DMB. Randolph and the others have still have their dignity.

I actually may get a chance to see Randolph at Navy Pier on New Years eve with Big Head Todd & The Monsters :D.

That's why I was suprised when I heard all the bluesy guitar from them. I figured they were just another band like OAR. But I really like this. I'm also listening to Les Claypool. Badmoon do you know how I can download this Phish set so I can burn it?

Which brings me to another point. Have you guys heard of Umphrey's McGee? One cd of their's I really liked, I'll have to find out the name. I was reminded cause they played this year at Bonnaroo.

Creedence Clearwater 11-21-2004 09:51 PM

Oh and thanks to rock not roll for the explaination yesterday, now i rep everyone I see in this thread

/continues to wait for new tele to arrive in the mail.

Badmoon 11-21-2004 09:52 PM

I believed you'd have to convert the files. I don't know to what, and I don't know how. Sorry :(

Is it an audio stream? if for you would have to record from your computers soundcard in real time to a format you can burn

Badmoon 11-21-2004 09:58 PM

^ I don't know.

Yeah, great band.

magicbus 11-21-2004 09:59 PM

No I'm talking about the asp files that open right in my internet window. I thought there might be another file type I could download. But its ok.

And pics of the new tele! :thumb: (when it gets to you)

^^ Yea man. This sounds like a sweet festival. I might end up going next year.
What?
What, your music knowledge isn't infinite?:thumb:

magicbus 11-21-2004 10:03 PM

You could sign up for a photobucket account and then just post us to your photo page. I love the butterscotch blonde teles. I think it looks best like that.
What, your music knowledge isn't infinite?
I was also surprised to see Badmoon asking the question for once.. :p

What's wrong with OAR and DMB?

Badmoon 11-21-2004 10:04 PM
What, your music knowledge isn't infinite?:thumb:
What the hell are you talking about? What new Telecaster?

Badmoon 11-21-2004 10:05 PM
What's wrong with OAR and DMB?
They're nothing like the other bands and I really don't like them.

DMB are hypocrites, and OAR are just fruity, in my opinion.

magicbus 11-21-2004 10:06 PM

Yea OAR is the kind of music the stoner/preppy kids listen to. They play their cd in Hollister.

jpj 11-21-2004 10:07 PM

I just think like to listen to them occasionally because it's just fun and happy music, and I like feeling happy :)

Creedence Clearwater 11-21-2004 10:08 PM
What the hell are you talking about? What new Telecaster?
The new tele i am waiting to come in the mail, I hide details about in the bottom of my previous posts.

Oh, and there were inaudable whispers when you went to the toilet

/inserts larege sarcasm smilie

magicbus 11-21-2004 10:09 PM

Yea it is happy music, I'll give it that. This really gay kid likes them though, and he kinda ruined it for me. He's like the kid who our entire grade knows as a guitar player, but I pwn him so much. I can't wait for the talent show :thumb:

Cool, now regail us with stories of your guitar playing prowess

jpj 11-21-2004 10:11 PM

About the preppy kid thing from what I've heard that's true. My brother has been to a couple of their shows, and he said the only bad thing was all the stupid frat boy asshats.

magicbus 11-21-2004 10:14 PM

Frat boy asshats is a perfect description. Other than them, I don't mind OAR. And as for stories of my prowess, I don't know what to say. I've gotten a lot better in the last year, so maybe I'll do some recordings some time. I'm into improv a lot, so maybe I can do that for the talent show. Cause this gay kid I'm talking about just does chords and sings. So I can solo/destroy him.

EDIT: I'm out. Later guys.

godigoy 11-21-2004 10:19 PM

Hey does anyone know if Alan Parsons engineered Abby Road by The Beatles?

I can't find it anywhere on the LP or cover.

Not a clue.

My dad has an Alan Parsons Project album that I've been meaning to listen to. They any good?

BludgeonySteve 11-21-2004 10:22 PM

I thought that Pete Cobin did.

godigoy 11-21-2004 10:24 PM

I don't really like them but I've been really confused about this because on his web site it has the abbey road side walk but I can't find anything about him engineering it I know he engineered Dark Side Of The Moon, please help if anyone knows.

jpj 11-21-2004 10:25 PM

I googled it. Pete Cobin was the chief engineer.

godigoy 11-21-2004 10:26 PM

Ok thanks.

godigoy 11-21-2004 10:26 PM

But his name isn't on the album either lol, only George Martin the producer is.

BludgeonySteve 11-21-2004 10:26 PM

I got it first. That bastard JPJ had to google it

Creedence Clearwater 11-21-2004 10:27 PM
