Rising 07-24-2005 03:26 PM

RavenousMetalist87 07-24-2005 03:40 PM

y/w Rising.

I am still a fan of Testament, whether their material be thrash or "crap" to the rest of the members here.

I got Cold Steel...For An Iron Age off of Napster today. w00t.

what are you talking about ''whether their material be thrash or crap''

The regulars on here don't seem to like a lot of stuff after The Legacy. They don't feel that it's "thrash worthy", which I can understand but I personally don't think it's terrible.

Rising 07-24-2005 04:13 PM

ok, well here are the songs of testament that i've heard so far, and to be honest they've put a good impression on me for the band so far

Practice what you Preach
Disciples of the watch
Over the wall
Trial by Fire
Souls of Black
Legacy : is ok i guess

joe_fresh 07-24-2005 04:17 PM

Terrorzone 07-24-2005 04:38 PM

No, he means check out the band Sodom. Persecution Mania and Agent Orange are albums by Sodom.

Rising 07-24-2005 04:40 PM

oh ok, my bad, ive never heard of Sodom

joe_fresh 07-24-2005 04:42 PM

Great band, the two albums i mentioned are excellent. Definatley worth checking out.

Terrorzone 07-24-2005 04:43 PM

They are a german thrash band. They are awesome. For more german thrash, check out Kreator and Destruction.

RCA 07-24-2005 04:53 PM

Anything Tom Angelripper touches is worth checking out. I haven't been deeply disappointed in a Sodom/Onkel Tom album yet. :)

NP: Heathen - Arrows Of Agony

We all know who Slayer are. :p

Yeah, Angel of Death is a great song. I'm especially fond of the breakdown in it.

Terrorzone 07-24-2005 05:37 PM

Is the new Nevermore album worth getting?
Is the new Nevermore album worth getting?
I don't like Nevermore, so I couldn't tell you. I think Ravenous likes them, maybe he can give you an answer.

Terrorzone 07-24-2005 05:41 PM

Cool. Do you know where I can get any Heathen albums. I heard something by them a while back and really liked it.

Heathen are good... i prefer Breaking the Silence over Victims of Deception

RavenousMetalist87 07-24-2005 07:13 PM

Terrorzone,

The only song I've heard of the new Nevermore is "Final Product". It's still the same Nevermore, just really odd. Loomis' guitar work is still spectacular if you ask me.

Whoa, I just listened to the first track of it, and...just

Amazing intro. It's progressive like their previous releases, but for some weird reason it's pretty heavy and faster.

If you have real player, they have full song samples (not 30 sec.) on Tower:

Yes, I should change my usertitle to "MX Label Breaker".

Then again I haven't figured out if anyone knows what I'd be talking about. :upset:

Edit: Destroyer 666 > Slayer

A lot more evil that HAS no boundaries. (Sorry for the spam guys ._.)

RCA 07-24-2005 07:27 PM

Funny that you mention D666, I'm listening to them right now.

NP: Destroyer 666 - Satanic Speed Metal

:thumb: It's because they are the pwnage. Austrialian they are, now that I checked it. That's something Apocolyptic Raids can be proud of \m/>_<\m/

I just got Cold Steel...For An Iron Age today because for some weird reason, Napster said I still had 15 credits left.

w00t :D

RCA 07-24-2005 07:40 PM

Check out Unchain The Wolves, that is their best album IMO. It's also one of my favorites. :D

Terrorzone 07-24-2005 08:08 PM

I like the sound of the new album. Thanks Ravenous. I've been meaning to check out D666.
