about to learn to play it on guitar and maybe work on a cover version

nah i was at a friends house a couple weeks ago blowin mad joints and her crazy neighbor came over and played it for us on acoustic guitar

i thought it was the prettiest love song, and after finally hearing the actual song I've realized that The Doors didn't deal with it properly and I feel like this idea I have for a cover version is gonna be brilliant rock music

I don't care for their style personally, it's just one of those songs that I think would have serious potential if dealt with in a different style

I have a few of their albums tho and used to play the piss out of them when I was like thirteen and trying to gradually distance myself from metal

I ate a really small dose of shrooms once, basically just a pinch that my friend handed me cuz he didn't want to eat the whole bag. it gave me a slightly more mellow mindset and then we smoked a blunt and it got me stoned as hell.

would be cool to experiment further
