I'd be interested, but damn, 6gb?
Can't I just have the demos and majesty stuff? Why thankyou :)
Yeah if you have utorrent you can select which ones you wanna download. you need to a member of the site though http://www.torrent-damage.net/details.php?id=14729 Its not their entire discography but its good enough |
join the club, i ordered mine about 3 weeks ago, now i hear this.....bugger.
is it just the same guitar, just different holes around the pickups, (why i dont know) and now transparent colours and flame/quilted maple tops.....like the one on score?? i wont be too bothered if thats all it is, coz ill be having mine in mystic dream, and that needs to be a solid colour anyway. and mine will be coming with the updated pickup in the bridge, (D-sonic) and the compensated nut. so i dunno whats different?
how much did you pay for that sucker? it's loads better than mine haha |

is the d sonic really stock on all his new guitars? I know he likes it because of the ToT/8vm downtuned stuff but i thought i was just using it in some of his guitars that the downtuned, not in all his models. Oh well. As far as a new model, I'm sure Rainmaker is pretty spot on. JP has said repeatedly that his model/body style is absolutly perfect for him, in his mind it's the best possible guitar on the planet. I bet we just see a couple add-ons, some flame/quilt finishes (drools) and possibly covered pickups as seen on Score.

yupyupyup
i actually dont even know what pickups are in mine... |
mines costing, £2k, 7 string, mystic dream, matching headstock, inlays, and piezo, so the whole bundle really, thought id go all out. simply cant wait for it.
yea, the d-sonic and the compensated nut are going to be standard on all orders taken from april 2006, or should i say since apr 06, but still. like i said, if its just the laminated top, im ok with that, and i dont like the idea/look of covered pups on this guitar that much anyway, wouldnt go well with the mystic dream! i think the pickups on the pre-dsonic model, are custom dimarzios based on the steve's special (i think, not sre on that one) for the bridge, and the air norton for the neck. but whatever options are on it, it is one AMAZING guitar! |

I can't download off Rapidshare, but thanks anyway. |

i used a currency converter and it said 3700, which is a lot better than 4 5o 5k.... guitars are always more expensive over here, its ****e, and if we try to import them, we get ****ed over on the import and customs etc etc, so it ends up about them same price. |
I want petrucci's adress:(
But yeah if anyones interested, i have found DT's entire back catalogue inc demos, singles, bootlegs, fanclub cds etc on a torrent site if anyone wants the link.
Can you give me the link? thanks :thumb: Today I went again to see Petruiccis ssignature guitar again, and used it for about half an hour in the store. It is so amazing, the problem is that it costs Q24,600 ($3,075) and I don't have that amount of money. :upset: |

He worked with Music Man and they designed a tremolo specifically for the way he plays. The result is a trem that stays in tune through dive bombs and flutters almost as well as a Floyd, without the hassles. There are some videos on youtube I think that show Petrucci working with Music Man designing the guitar. |

Not to sound like a stalker, but I passed by Petrucci's house today.
Beautiful.:thumb: |
Pics?
I would've rung his doorbell as someone from a noble cause and when he opens the door,
OMG I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IT IS MR PETRUCCI /turns conversation to guitar
lol I probably would have done the same thing. But I don't think I'd be able to talk, I'd just stare at his biceps  Edit: Or should that be a : naughty: ? :p |

Haha, I dont know if I'd be able to go up and ring it. He seems like the kind of person that enjoys his privacy. I dont want to compromise that.:thumb:
However, If I was his neighbor.:naughty: Anyway, I passed by after I had some dinner with a friend, it was around 10:30 at night so no pics. It looks like one of those houses you see in magazines, not too huge, but impressive. Lots of foilage. Looks brand new.:thumb: Haha, I'm a stalker :( |
