I'm in love with the 2 +44 songs as well.
They are playing a one off show in London, which sucks seeing as it's the opposite side of the country for me.
I also saw a big list of US tour dates, so check them out. Looks like they are playing small venues.

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 04:38 PM

Tulsa, Oklahoma anywhere?

I dont think AvA deserve all the flaming they have been getting. Sure Tom built it up waay too much but hey, its Tom Delonge- he said the last Blink album was like the second coming of Christ. Some people take him too literally. Also, people have generally regarded their album as a failure which I think is bull****. I just listened to the whole album and if you are in the right mood and place then it is ****in awsome. On first listen it can sound a bit 'samey' the whole way through, but after a few listens it is great if you are feeling like it.

I have to say i respect Tom alot for taking such a big step. He wants to do bigger things with his life and one thing he doesn't lack is ambition. He wants to take a new route and explore and that's exactly what hes doing. Obviously i miss Blink tons but its over and I dont think it would be same if they reunited at all. As for Plus 44, I cant wait to hear more, I love what Mark and Travis are doing. I just remembered how great Marks voice is. These are exciting times.......

Nowhere near. :upset:

yourstruly 09-05-2006 08:36 PM

They're closer to you than they are to me :(

EDIT: This was posted on plus44online.com

Rumors are floating around the internet about Plus 44 shooting a video.

"The single is also called When Your Heart Stops Beating the video is being shot on 8/9th Sept and will be delivered on 21st. "

DJ Ducksauce 09-05-2006 08:38 PM

Aw, k.

Anyways, I'm hoping I can get my parents to let me go.

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 08:44 PM

I hope the vocals are like on "Lyncanthorpe". The way Mark accentuates parts of his vocals is orgasmic.

DJ Ducksauce 09-05-2006 08:46 PM

I'm digging the P44.

I hope the rest of the album is good.

yourstruly 09-05-2006 08:54 PM

I wanna hear more, because so far they've only released poppyish songs and I wanna hear their heavier songs

Storm In A Teacup 09-05-2006 09:03 PM

More stuff like "Stay Together For The Kids". I cry when I listen to that song.

hahaha they won't have heavy songs.

yourstruly 09-05-2006 09:28 PM

no one will know for sure until the album comes out

B 09-05-2006 09:32 PM

A pop-punk/pop-rock band won't have heavy songs.

formofshark 09-05-2006 09:46 PM

yeah lolwtf @ heavy songs

i still havent heard any +44, im not expecting anything awesome, so im just gonna wait until it comes out to listen

idk

yourstruly 09-06-2006 04:45 AM

what the fuck?, I said heavier songs, not "heavy" songs. They said in an interview that their album is really diverse..

Ross 09-06-2006 04:53 AM

I hope they sound like SLAYER!

lawl.

I'm looking forward to this album much more than I was AvA. Diverse is good, and AvA's CD lacked anything I could get into. And I listened to it so so SO many times.

yourstruly 09-06-2006 05:06 AM

I'm looking forward to it alot more aswell. With AVA it was like "meh, whatever', but with Plus 44 i'm actually excited to go out and buy the record.

Why would I listen to Angels and Airwaves when I can just as easily listen to U2 and Blink-182 at the same time?

yourstruly 09-06-2006 05:21 AM

LiEk OMG YeW iZ tEh OriGnl

Ross 09-06-2006 05:22 AM

To be honest, he's right.

And I repeat, I really REALLY tried to like AvA.

Dies Irae 09-06-2006 05:24 AM

liek omg that's teh orignlz comback of the sentry!

TheBigMachine 09-06-2006 05:37 AM

Nevermind our new zealender friend, he seems to have a personal disliking for Tom and anyone who tries to give him a fair go.

If anything, I was defending Tom..and was pointing out how lame and unoriginal the U2/AVA comparison is..

Ross 09-06-2006 06:07 AM

I keep listening to that cover of The Longest Line (a NOFX song) Blink did on Flyswatter. I never thought it would be possible, but Tom (or Mark?) was flatter than Fat Mike on that track

yourstruly 09-06-2006 06:10 AM

they should've had Tom sing that song, Toms voice was kinda similiar to fattys back then

TheBigMachine 09-06-2006 06:11 AM
If anything, I was defending Tom..and was pointing out how lame and unoriginal the U2/AVA comparison is..
U2 are easily better than AVA. But whatever.
