So far this week I've had 5 lessons, and I've only shown up to 1.

Insomnia is making me ill.

Nah, the drugs should make him sleeeep.

I'm the same way. I keep staying up until 5:30 - 6:00 then in the morning I have so much trouble making it to my morning classes.

Bartender 04-12-2005 02:22 PM

Last year, I got into the rhythm of going to bed around 7pm, then waking up around 2am and spending some time online before going to my lectures and such.

Didn't work this semester though - too many afternoon classes - and nearly resulted in my being kicked out.

Iai 04-12-2005 02:24 PM

I was in bed at about 00.30 last night. I didn't actually get to sleep until 6. I can't sleep at the best of times, but this is just stupid.

ATM 04-12-2005 02:30 PM

It's really taking a toll on my grades.

Good idea, but I can't see that working for me. I work until 6.10 every weekday, then don't get home until just before 7. Then I have to eat, and I can't sleep after just eating. The eventual result of that would probably mean me getting the right amount of sleep, but not having any time to do coursework at home - I'd get to sleep by about midnight, then not get up till 8.

Wish it'd work though.

It's certainly taking a toll on my coursework. But I'm lucky - exams have never been a problem for me.

ATM 04-12-2005 02:50 PM

You are lucky. I have never tested well. Luckily I am getting out of this school and going to an art/music school.

vallely2004 04-12-2005 02:57 PM

I hate exams full stop. I love coursework. But guess what? Out of my subjecs I have one piece of coursework, I am a guaranteed failure this year

leiferikson 04-12-2005 03:12 PM
No, I've heard of them though. Have you any songs to share?
I dont unfortunately. I caught them live the other week and was extremely extremely impressed. They definitely deserve to be big. I think they won some award in Ireland recently. Are you from Ireland? I saw you mention something about it but I might have read it wrong. Ooh one of the chalets was wearing this tight as pvc dress thing (she was a girl) which accentuated her epic breasts nicely. If the place had been a tad darker I might have been tempted to do something lewd

Vallely: Coursework is always a total disaster for me. For example, yesterday I finally finished my song for my A2 Music, only to find the server for 3rd year students was down and my work hadn't saved properly. 4 hours of work, lost.

Meanwhile, with exams.....I don't know. There's definitely a trick to exams - you have to be able to bullshit well enough to convince some guy you've never met that you know what you're talking about. And I'm naturally good at talking bullshit.

Happymeal 04-12-2005 05:21 PM

Good thing I'm still a year away from Uni.

You guys should listen to The Gerogerigegege to spice up your life.

That's definitely what saw me through A-level history. I mean, I loved the subject, I just didn't like officially learning and being tested on it.

And I can't help with your dream, sorry. I have enough strange dreams of my own to think about :) In fact, I've been sleeping in an armchair in our living room for the past couple of nights. I seem to dream more in that.

Where's that from?

And that reminds me - if anyone hasn't seen Something Awful today, check it out. The Comedy Goldmine is Jokes With Realistic Endings, and it's hilarious.

The Jesus Lizard- Mouth Breather

I read Something Awful everyday because it is indeed hilarious. I even got an account there, but I didn't contribute anything to that Goldmine. Sorry.
