No no, Sacrifice haven't reformed. Rob U. really wants to get them back together, but it won't be easy... Joe Rico lives in Detroit now.

Ugh, that would be hard. I've always got that DVD of theirs that's supposed to be coming out. |
Where do you guys live? And where is Wacken going?
|
Where do you guys live? And where is Wacken going?
I live in Brandon, MS. I haven't lived there long though. Wacken stays in Germany, as it is an open-air festival. |
Sabbath were never thrash, and neither were Panterrible.
I have that same shirt.
Panterrible ?, what ?, man .. everyone who likes good metal , should owe something to Pantera |
Wacken stays in Germany, as it is an open-air festival.
:upset:
Panterrible ?, what ?, man .. everyone who likes good metal , should owe something to Pantera
Their influence is very overrated, its more in nu-metal than any good music. But IMO Cowboys From Hell was a solid record. |

Oh great, a Pantera fanboy. |

i look up to dimebag when it comes to guitar, does that make me a ''fanboy'' ? and i happen to know they are all excellent musicians |
Panterrible ?, what ?, man .. everyone who likes good metal , should owe something to Pantera
all a matter of opinion, and i don't like Pantera at all. |
i respect your opinion, but you know you gotta acknowledge the dedication it took to get that good but its ok if you dont like them
its like opera, you might not like it, but you cant tell me that fat guy cant sing its all opinions, but realize all the talent it must of taken them m,kay ? :thumb: |
well, them being good is your opinion. In my opinion they are very overrated, and aren't half as talented as people make out.
|
Thats a fact. Anyway, just got Melissa/The Beginning and Endless Pain. I'm liking Melissa as much as DBTO. AS for Endless Pain, its ****ing awesome. I could be wrong, but it sounds like Ventor singing half the time.

aw cmon man, give a good listen to dimes solo and tell me he doesnt know how to play guitar their drummer is ****in tight workin with the bass |
No one ever denied that he could play the guitar. They just stated their opinions.
|
nu-metal ?, you lost me
hows pantera nu-metal ?
They influenced pretty much every nu-metal band, and IMO if you take the solos out many Pantera songs are very nu-metal-ish. Enough about Pantera, they aren't even thrash. Guys go check out my covers in the Megadeth thread. |
Where do you guys live? And where is Wacken going?
Australia. More bands need to come my way. |
Really nice job on Take No Prisoners. How long have you been playing?

if you can, download Mouth for war, you might like
They weren't directly saying Pantera were nu-metal. Just that they influenced it a lot. |

Victory, and every song in its lyrics. :thumb:
if you can, download Mouth for war, you might like
I've got CFH, Vulgar, FBD, and RTS.
They weren't directly saying Pantera were nu-metal. Just that they influenced it a lot.
:thumb:
Really nice job on Take No Prisoners. Oh man. My local metal radio show just played three songs of pure ownage. They had a german thrash section. They played a Kreator track, then a live Sodom track, then some Destruction, and talked about how good the bands were afterward.
:D :D :D Ryan: I also found someone else with live Razor, who would be way easier to deal with, because he isn't list only or anything. He only asks that you ask to download the video. Username is pissedpat, I think he is actually a guy from the Exodus forums. Also, what would you guys consider to be the best Destruction album? I'm in a Soulseek kinda mood. |
do you guys listen to Black Label Society ?
|
I only have Release from Agony and Eternal Devestation, but I think release from agony is the better of the two.

is that a BLS album ? i dont think i know those ones |
no, sorry, that was meant for Apocalyptic Raids.
I find BLS, along with most work by Wylde, fairly overated, although he has done some great stuff (Pride & Glory). BLS isnt thrash, so doesnt really fit in this thread. There is probably an offical BLS thread somehwere. |

Wait, what the fuck? Those are Destruction albums. :amaze:
Oh man. My local metal radio show just played three songs of pure ownage. I will be for sure now though. :D Best Destruction album = either Cracked Brain or Live Without Sense. Those aren't necessarily my favorites though. |
some of BLS fits into thrash category, but not all of it
