not liking Stormcrowfleet is still pretty big fail
i'm just more into traditional doom. if esoteric counts than i guess i like 2 funeral doom bands. i'll probably give stormcrowfleet another go or at least check out alloy.

rasputin 10-24-2008 09:44 PM

yeah man, definitely check out alloy

rattlehead42147 10-25-2008 08:59 AM

pate 10-27-2008 08:18 PM

Austin I think you might like Well of Souls. Either that, or you'll hate them.

Nostalgia 10-27-2008 08:30 PM

Ok I'll check out a song and tell you what I think!

pate 10-27-2008 08:34 PM

Go for The Realms of Reverie or Pain of Loss.

Nostalgia 10-27-2008 09:20 PM

Their myspace tracks were pretty awesome. The vocals are a little strange, but I think I could definitely listen to it.

Good job.

gmoneyguy 10-27-2008 11:17 PM

the Reverend Bizarre side of the RB and EW split is kind of disappointing.

FatalEnergy 10-28-2008 04:13 AM

Is that the one of the Beherit cover?

I can't remember, but if so....you fail.

I've been into them for like 2 years, but always forget about them. The vocals are indeed strange.

jrowa001 10-28-2008 07:20 AM

in the past month or so i picked these up, forgot to talk about it here...
Saint Vitus - Born Too Late
Trouble - Psalm 9

...both are really damn good and i plan on getting more from the two bands. im also about to get Pentagram's Day of Reckoning

pate 10-28-2008 07:36 AM

All three are great choices.

jrowa001 10-28-2008 08:28 AM

yeah im going through a list of albums that i was suggested here. all have been superb so far

Nostalgia 10-28-2008 02:08 PM

You guys should download Black Hole - Land of Mystery.

It's an interesting album. It's really how traditional doom should be: ****ing awesome.

pate 10-28-2008 03:27 PM

Yeah, that's a good album.

gmoneyguy 10-28-2008 11:12 PM

Man,
I love the new Skepticism.

They did it again.
I'm going to wear my Skepticism shirt with pride today.

rasputin 10-31-2008 04:32 AM

Ha, I'm listening to it now :D
It's so good. What shirt do you have?

the2stranger 10-31-2008 04:40 AM

A black shirt with a print of Matti on it, holding the micstand and yousee the crowd on the background.
There's also an awesome text on the back of the shirt.

Refl 10-31-2008 04:55 AM
