agree but Metallica had his Thrash moments.

Kreator. Although I don't post much.

I am now the proud owner of the Under the Influence ****, on the back it says "We Came To Shred"........I rule and so does Overkill
dude... am i the only one who is gonna mention Pantera, one of the very best ****in metal bands on earth

Black Label Society, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron maiden, Judaspriest, Motorhead, Black Sabbath ( some might say Sabbath aint thrash, but it was when ozzy wasnt there )
Sabbath were never thrash, and neither were Panterrible.

I have that same shirt.

Sabbath are still a great band to listen to when you need it  Pantera seems to be intersting me quite a bit but then again, I am a fan of music, and I try to be as open-minded as I can when listening to bands.

As for that shirt, gah, I envy the both of you

I wear size MD but they only have LG. I need to get an Arise shirt (Sep.), an Enemy of God shirt (Kreator) [flame me :p ], and maybe an Overkill shirt if I can get more money. I really really wanted to get a Destruction shirt, but they don't have any on there.

Anyone else know any good sites to find band shirts?

Edit: I noticed that FaceInTheSky put s*h*i*t, isntead of shirt.

RCA 07-23-2005 09:48 AM

eBay has had alot of cool metal shirts as of late, check there for something. JSRDirect is also good.

Buy the LG shirt, as the shirts are 100% cotton. Run it through a wash cycle and it'll shrink to the next size down. That's what I have to do to all my shirts; Buy them one size larger, and then shrink them. :thumb:

I wasn't trashing Sabbath, by the way. :p

I was like "WTF?" at first too, but then he said something about the back of something. I then deducted (Sherlock Holmes style) that it was indeed a shirt he was talking about. :D

Awesome band.

RavenousMetalist87 07-23-2005 10:18 AM

Lol. Nice one.

I know you wouldn't trash Sabbath, Ryan. I guess I was a little bit of a prick before I started to fiddle around with my Destruction DVD.

I got this really interesting idea how to cover Curse The Gods live. Play the intro 1.5x faster than what Destruction plays at now, and when it comes to the slower part, slow it down but keep it somewhat fast.

I guess I don't make much sense now that I read what I typed XD. I think I should find a mic and record it.

RCA 07-23-2005 10:19 AM
Awesome band.
Yes they are! They have so many great riffs. This is real melodic death metal, fuck the homosexual sausage-fest that is Gothenburg.
Curse The Gods idea
Yeah, record that. I'm curious as to what it would sound like.

That just made me crack up. I'll try to record the idea today after I get back from seeing War of the Worlds.

/is going alone :upset:

I'll be near a Radioshack so I can pickup an adapter or a very much better mic right before I leave the area. w00t for me!

War Of The Worlds is good, you should enjoy it.

Are you going to use the mic to record the Curse The Gods idea?

DisposableHeroes 07-23-2005 01:20 PM

I found out the release date for the new Slayer album is October 10th, i dont exactly expect a full on return to their thrash roots, but with Lombardo back this better be good

I hope Jeff and Dave had a big hand in writing the riffs/songs. Anytime Kerry writes a song (since DI) it ends up sounding like gaycore or Slipknot.

Yeah, and hopefully the lyrics are a bit more varied. I'd like to hear some more war/murder songs. But atleast we're 100% gauranteed it will be heavy, even if it is shit

I haven't listened to Slayer in forever. But I'm not going to break the streak just yet. :p

Last time I listened to Slayer it was Seasons, and the chorus of track 3 was stuck in my head for a week. I couldn't sleep one night and I ended up singing it a thousand times.

DisposableHeroes 07-23-2005 02:19 PM

Track 3..nuts i cant remember what that is..Blood Red?

I listened to Leave Scars for the first time in a while, no matter how much i listen to their other albums this one is my favourite, maybe because its the first one i heard.

Is it "Spirit In Black" by chance?? I'm not sure, I know little about Slayer, just that one came to mind, cause my friend's oppsessed with Slayer.

DisposableHeroes 07-23-2005 03:33 PM

It probably is

I need to track down the demos for Dark Angel's fifth album, i think they made some

The movie was rather good. A lot different that what I expected.

As for the mic, I hate it  It records too low, and I put the volume for the speakers and mic high, still, no good. x_x

All I can say is like...hmm...it sounds like the intro to Mass Hypnosis, but just the way that it's played.

RCA 07-23-2005 04:14 PM

Still, try to find some way to get it on here. I can't draw a comparison between the two songs. :o

Alright. Somehow, and someway, it shall make it on here. Hmm...

Would tabs be better?

metal-militia 07-23-2005 04:30 PM

You know the new Slayer will be ****ty. I don't think they've done anything good since SITA.

I hope Razor fucking slays. Same goes with Anvil and Exciter!
