Dude. Mario Golf was sweet.
|
i was a Kirby master when i was a young'n
I used to have Dr. Mario on the original Nintendo. My Dad loved the **** out of that game for some reason.
my mom played that game all the time |
I hate reminiscing.
|
I think my hatred of Mario Golf comes from the fact that when my dad and his friend played it, it meant that me and my other friends couldn't play Earth Worm Jim or super C or what have you. And at that time I barely played video games, but those were more interesting to watch than golf.

Mario Golf was sweet.
I've never heard of that before...I don't believe it.
/tries
When you beat kirby and king DeeDeeDee is all pissed off and shocked it tells you that at the start menu if you press up select B you get a tougher game. I guess you didn't sit and watch the kirby hot air balloon the whole time after winning. Edit: it might be down select B |
it never said that for me and i watched the whole thing several times
|
Have you guys ever heard Rovo?
|
it never said that for me and i watched the whole thing several times
I swear it does, otherwise I don't know how I knew about it as a kid.
If I had my gameboy and kirby here I would have a picture of it in a half hour. |
I don't remember that either. Hmmm

The end of that shows it. and it's actually Up Select A, oops. |
HOLY ****ING **** I WANT TO GO TO THIS
http://www.last.fm/event/418799 Road trip anyone?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvF-laEL1qs The end of that shows it. and it's actually Up Select A, oops.
Well that explains it...I was thinking of Kirby's Adventure for the NES. |
That line-up is good, but I don't like Bardo Pond that much.
|
Bardo Pond are kings. What albums have you heard?
|
I haven't heard any whole albums, just some random songs. I think one of them is called Fish Song?
|
i would go if i could
|

"Be a Fish", its an okay song. You should get Set and Setting |
Oh awesome a bunch of people I've never heard of.
In Kentucky. |
"Be a Fish", its an okay song. You should get Set and Setting
Is that an album? If so, I'm on it right away. |
The biggest names in neopsychedelia in Kentucky just doesn't fit...
Is that an album? If so, I'm on it right away.
Its an album. |
there are only like a handful of good bands there
|
Its an album.
Cool, thanks. |
Bardo Pond, Mono, Marissa Nadler, Windy and Carl, Jack Rose, Paik, Wooden Shijips, Acid Mothers Temple, mv & ee, Plastic Crime Soundwave, Ignatz, Pelt.
More than 10. |
handful would probably be five
|
The biggest names in neopsychedelia in Kentucky just doesn't fit...
Its an album.
I don't know about the rest of Kentucky but Louisville seems rather cool actually. |
I don't know about the rest of Kentucky but Louisville seems rather cool actually.
All I know about the south is what I've seen on the Simpsons. |
Louisville is kind of good
|
All I know about Louisville I learned from driving through it to and from Bonnaroo twice, and from meeting some really cool art students from there at a big tire swing.
Which is probably less reliable than the simpsons. |
The South rules, except for all of the hundreds of years of hate and oppression.
|
I assume in the south that they all drive red chargers and have hootenannys on a regular basis.
|
I haven't been in the south much. I went to Bonnaroo last summer, but we only stopped at some waffle houses and firework stores (there are so many)
|
 I may get to see Arthur Brown!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Brown_(musician) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NOErZuzZpS8 |
Crazy. And if you know half of the music I listen to, I don't throw that term around much.
|
Have you heard any of his stuff? He's this big-time showman kind of performer.
|
The youtube vid you just posted is all I know of him.

I always thought Alice Cooper was the originator of vaudeville rock. Interesting.
|
Set and Setting gave me a better understanding of Bardo Pond. With some more listens I might even start to like them.
|
Dear samariah I just saw a post from you on my friend Cameron's facebook wall. So I axed you to be my friend.
