The songs are a little too long, but yes, good album.

Nostalgia 10-17-2008 11:18 AM

Leaving the Warzone, Until Death do Us Part, Desturction of the Void, and Hippies' Triumph are obv the best songs.

pate 10-17-2008 11:47 AM

UDDUP is the best.

Shattered_Future 10-17-2008 01:00 PM
not as crushing as u sitting on some1
So by that logic, I must be the doomiest thing on earth.

pate 10-17-2008 02:23 PM

*doomest

rasputin 10-21-2008 07:03 AM

So anyone else here still jerking off to the new Skepticism? That, and Giant Squid's Metridium Fields.

gmoneyguy 10-23-2008 08:56 PM

The new GS should be out soon, I think.

FatalEnergy 10-23-2008 10:41 PM

I'm seeing Asunder and Corrupted on Halloween.

It will be a milestone of my life.

dUSK 10-23-2008 11:04 PM

I've heard Asunder are excellent live. Lucky bastard.

jrowa001 10-23-2008 11:26 PM

Gates of Slumber's new album is kicking my *** lately

DBlitz 10-24-2008 06:08 AM

Is Saturnus any good? The site only has a few ratings for it, so I can't be sure which album to check out (or if they are any good).

pate 10-24-2008 07:09 AM

Saturnus is AMAZING. And I hate death/doom.

Get Veronika Decides To Die.

They were so crushing live.

@Jeff: It's killer.

DBlitz 10-24-2008 07:15 AM

will do

yeah I read somewhere early 2009? Should be sweet

the2stranger 10-24-2008 08:29 AM

Sweet ****, I'm attending this tomorrow and sunday:
Skepticism, Forgotten Tomb, Faith, Worship, Isole, Pantheist, Mourning Dawn, Fall Of The Idols, Subrosa, Ophis, The Lamp Of Thoth, Beneath The Frozen Soil, Griftegård, Faal, Hooded Priest and wizards of doom.

rasputin 10-24-2008 08:33 AM

Screw you and your home in Europe! Skepticism, Forgotten Tomb, Worship and Isole would be so good, I haven't heard any of the others though.

the2stranger 10-24-2008 08:44 AM

A friend of mine is opening up on this festival, which should be cool too.
I'm also looking forward to Pantheist, awesome funeral doom.

ATM 10-24-2008 08:49 AM

Bastard....

At least I might get to go to Roadburn with you :D

Yeah, Pantheist is good. Some of the only Funeral Doom I like other than Skepticism.

rattlehead42147 10-24-2008 02:35 PM

I think the only funeral doom i like is thergothon. i need to get into more but i don't like skepticism, or at least i didn't like stormcrowfleet when i first heard it.

Nostalgia 10-24-2008 03:42 PM

I had a dream I was going to see Warning and when I got there they said it was VIP only and I cried.

Angmar 10-24-2008 05:19 PM

lol

masada 10-24-2008 05:52 PM

were you watching from a distance

Correction 10-24-2008 06:04 PM

have a listen to Skepticism's new album

Stormrider 10-24-2008 09:19 PM

not liking Stormcrowfleet is still pretty big fail

rasputin 10-24-2008 09:20 PM

I guess, but I can see why someone not into funeral doom wouldn't like it. Alloy is much easier to get into.

Stormrider 10-24-2008 09:22 PM
I guess, but I can see why someone not into funeral doom wouldn't like it.
Yeah, I know too. I don't really consider myself a big fan of the genre though, considering I only like 2 or so bands that I've heard from it.

pate 10-24-2008 09:36 PM
were you watching from a distance
no but he obviously has the strength to dream.
