not as good as cold roses...i actually did a search to find a thread about him but there is none? is that possible? sadly, i still can't make a thread....

Little Man being Erased 11-24-2005 08:44 PM

I like it just as much, maybe more than Cold Roses, but I love pretty much everything he's done. There has been a couple of Ryan Adams threads in here not too long ago. I'll try and find one.

EDIT: Here we go:

No idea why it doesn't come up when you search for 'Ryan Adams.'

Such an awesome album.

Pretty much most of Bowie's albums/songs are deep, but this one album really tells a story.

Cold Roses is the best thing Ryan Adams has done since Heartbreaker. Jacksonville City Nights is not. Still good though.

Early tonight I was trying to listen to all of my Ryan Adams records in alphy order, only got through the first Cold Roses disc. Maybe tomorrow.

Little Man being Erased 11-24-2005 11:50 PM

I listen to way too much Ryan Adams.

I don't like that album.

I'm on an Elvis Costello kick, anyway (again). I need more.

Yeah, it's good shit.

I wish there would've been more interviews and things.

yeah, I love the interview bits more than the songs on these sorts of dvd's usually. I like how they show images of Lanegan and Nick even though it's troy and co. playing on the actual tracks. It's also funny when Oliveri talks about putting his amp in the toilet.

Elvis rules. When I first got My Aim Is True, I left it in my stereo for about two months straight.
