New Exodus artwork *may* have leaked, let me link you all.
Source Site Image Re-sized (Still has poor quality) This isn't the official artwork for the album, but there's a chance it could be. The ship-like thing in the picture is most likely the Shovel Headed Killing Machine. Overall, the cover looks like an Iced Earth album cover. |
could i join this kickass clan
could i join this kickass clan
This isn't much of a "clan" anymore, just a bunch of thrashers kickin' back and talking about this wonderful genre and the history/news surrounding it. So, if you like thrash, stick around. :D |
When is the new Exodus going to be released?
|
When is the new Exodus going to be released?
I think October/November. |
have you guy heard war is my shepard
have you guy heard war is my shepard
Yeah, I'm sure everyone here has. Not a very good example of thrash, but a generally fun song. |
Not really getting it... but I can't wait til I'm 18 so I can get my license. 2 and a half more years to go...
Totally non-thrash, but what I mean is that I just didn't like being a teenager that much. High school sucks, the last two girls I dated were sluts (especially the last one), and overall, I've had to put up with a lot of my friends bitching. Luckily, I had a lot of angry thrash to cure it all, except I'll get bitched at tonight. No problem. w00t for thrash  Ryan, I hate you for getting your license at 15  (just kidding. Wacken is only 2 weeks away!) |

:p Oh man, I'm so pumped for Wacken. I hope I don't die in the pit. |

And...? :p Hopefully Dukes will be a good replacement for Souza. |
Hopefully Dukes will be a good replacement for Souza.
People on the Exodus board say he's good, and that's definitely a good thing because that community is mostly veteran thrashers who live in the 'Frisco bay area. :D |
And...? :p
Hopefully Dukes will be a good replacement for Souza.
The moral of my experiences is that never date anyone from LA. Oh, I also forgot to admit I can be a little whiny bitch :upset: Bad habit, but...goto www.illwillpress.com/vault if you like squirrels that talk **** to people. As for Exodus, I am putting that on my list >.>; Crud, I never made that list. Grr. |

thats true. hey do u know if their new **** is going to be like the bonded by blood days or the same as their past album |
I have family in SF, sadly I haven't been anywhere historically thrash other than Oakland, and maybe the other areas surrounding it that aren't really thrash but towns like Pleasanton (Greg Christian's hometown according to Zetro) and some other random towns around there.
I might be going there this summer in August. Hopefully I have enough money to see if I can do some thrash album hunting :) |

Again, I hope he stays true to his word. |

i've been to SF  I'd love it if Exodus went back to the old stuff. Lets hope we get another BbB :thumb: |
SF is cool, but stay off of Powell and near Embarcadero >.>
Powell is like the Skid Row of SF. Homeless people are even down in the subway. As for Exodus, We must have faith in what's left of them. Hopefully one day I'll get in a band that would be grand enough to play the old stuff and hopefully create a modern but true form of thrash. \m/>_<\m/ |
I found 2 Hades albums on iTunes. Live on Location is the one I'm sampling right now  Then there's Resisting Success/If At First You Don't Succeed |
SF is awesome, my brother lives in Albany.

Yeah. although they are a little biased, since they know the band personally. The Exodus board is weird. There are heaps of cool knowledgable guys, but at the same time, lots of close-minded fuckwits. Especially when the conversation turns to death and black metal. |
I personally like PWYP, although no one else does and everyone says it's weak. I can see why. The album after PWYP is "Souls of Black" and isn't too much different then PWYP. The album after Souls of Black is "The Ritual" and they tried to go for a more commercial so the thrash is pretty much gone, but I like it as a metal album. It's not a musical abortion like Metallica's Black album. After that "Low" came out and just tried to be down-tuned 90's thrash, but is kind of lame. "Demonic" came out in '97 and is by far the shittiest album. It's all death vocals, no solos and groove monkey homo riffs. "The Gathering" came out in '99 and is a mixture of "Low" and "Demonic", except with cool drumming, because Lombardo plays on it, but other than that, it blows
PWYP is a fine record now, I'm liking it more and more. Espescially since I got a sealed LP of it a few months back and had a good close listen to it. There's not much to fault, even if the drumming still irks me making everything seems samey. |

Yeah, it's great having everything in the same spot. This and 'death heads' are the only two threads I really use on these forums still. Subscribe to the thread, get the updates. Quite a lot happens in here :) |
im 15 and i got my permit. i get my license in i little over 6 months.
Took me 4 months to go from L plates to P plates here in Australia, although I had my Ls for just over 6 months. Where I'm from, you've gotta be 16 to start to learn, then pass a test to get a provisional licence which just means showing annoying plates all the time, not going over 80km/h and not being able to drive supercharged or turbocharged cars. I think V8 and over. When's the new Destruction come out? |
Yeah. although they are a little biased, since they know the band personally.

What I found quite annoying was when a few members were arguing about death and thrash drummers |

Yeah, a majority of the people there know 0% about death/black metal. Alot of the users on that board are also members of the other bay area band's respective forums. I know a few people there from the Heathen and Warning S.F. boards. |
yeah, I'm on the Exodus boards, and I know a few people on there from the Heathen and Destruction Boards too
|

Black Label Society, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron maiden, Judaspriest, Motorhead, Black Sabbath ( some might say Sabbath aint thrash, but it was when ozzy wasnt there ) |
