Let's Chop Cats! 04-28-2005 06:31 PM

Revelation Records is excited to announce the release of "Generations: A Hardcore Compilation" LP/CD. It will feature exclusive tracks by the following bands. We are expecting this to be out (officially) August 2nd.

Go It Alone
Lights Out
Mind Eraser
Cold World
Keep It Up
Internal Affairs
LOJ
****ed Up
Down To Nothing
Robot Whales
Blacklisted
Iron Boots
Snake Eyes
Mental
Sinking Ships
Righteous Jams

All the songs are done and we are wrapping up the final touches on the layout, but we are looking for more flyers and photos for all of the bands.

CONNER_NWHC 04-28-2005 06:32 PM

I will purchase that.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-28-2005 06:46 PM

Did you happen to notice that it is a compilation of new/up and coming HC bands?

cbmartinez 04-28-2005 07:01 PM

Is Robot Whales from NJ?

Let's Chop Cats! 04-28-2005 07:04 PM

Yeah. They're Post-Hardcore, check them out. They're really good live. Members of Get Real.

cbmartinez 04-28-2005 07:06 PM

Says New York. This sounds kinda cool though.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-28-2005 07:07 PM

I figured they were from Nj since Get Real is. Ether way they play NJ a bunch and are good.

cbmartinez 04-28-2005 07:09 PM

Yeah, I like this "Is It Enough" song.

This band rules. I didn't think you'd be into them...
I don't think there is anything heavier than Shatterd Realm or Full Blown Chaos.

Someone prove me wrong, I feel like blowing out my speakers.
The bonus track on Wake the Demons is the best one. I still listen to that cd a lot. They're playing here tomorrow, but I doubt i'm going. I didn't really plan anything so I don't know.

Hahaha, cb only likes the jun wee.

They posted on Robot Whales myspace, so I clicked. I like it, it's got some heaviness to it, really cool breakdowns and XGroupXYellsx.

Sounds of the Underground?

I think a few bands are playing an outside stage here for like 5 bucks, so I might go.

BridgeToSolace 04-28-2005 07:36 PM
Hahaha, Red Roses For A Blue Lady? Marigold?
I said good call list lolz.

I had the RRFABL way before you ever mentioned them. And Marigold's new(est) demo song is kinda lame, even if their other songs are good.

cbmartinez 04-28-2005 07:37 PM

Wait, it's 29.50 for Sounds Of The Underground?

40 oz 2 freedom 04-28-2005 07:39 PM

I just heard my sister turn on the tv and it sounded like the beginning of Hold It Down when he talks about hardcore, but it's just an MTV thing about P. Diddy.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-28-2005 07:39 PM

Yeah. Only like 3 good bands are playing.

oopyman 04-28-2005 07:40 PM

I think I might've saw them over a year ago. It was my first hardcore show and I never found out the name of this one band that made me want to leave. There was some song called Cocaine and Violence and the place opened up like the red sea with kids flipping tables and throwing chairs. Also, some 300 lb guy dived off of the merch table into me and my friend and went into fell into another table.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-28-2005 07:42 PM

No I just know it's confirmed for Ottawa.

Sucks that the Converg/Cursed tour is only Canada.
