best french movie is la haine

there are far too many parts of that movie to pick a favorite. there's this part towards this end that i love where this kid's like "when i was a kid and i started crying, my dad would whip out his violin and mock me." or something to that extent and i couldn't stop laughing.

also the parts where they skip school/where he tells that whole lie about his mom/virtually anything else in that movie is beyond exceptional.

What a weekend. Work christmas party friday night started at 5pm, got home at 10am saturday morning. Saw Fangs and some other bands at midnight then went for a surf about 4am with a friend from work when we got kicked out of a place, completely smashed. Saturday night went to a triple bill of God God Dammit Dammit, Gay Paris & Totally Unicorn. Got home late again, woke up, started drinking this Thai rum called Sang Song or something. Woohoo for work and it's breaking up the drinking.
