I have a media exam soon, and I haven't learnt jack [size=2]sh[/size]it this year. Should be interesting to say the least.

My friend might be [size=2]fu[/size]cked as well, because he is milking his fractured hand for all it's worth and hasn't been to school since the start of term. Well, he had to fill out a form to send off coursework today, but of course, he wasn't in. The teacher was gonna give me the sheet to give to him, since it's pretty much just us 2 in class and a crapload of Year 12s, and I just thought "Yeah, that's not happening"

It started again today coz he was giving us a "mini test" and my friend looked at me and mumbled someit quietly, ad i just looked at him.

He said "how can i trust you to be a sensible mature young man in the exam if you can't in class" He says he can't take the risk.

And he said i've got serious personal problems :lol:

So, I'm considering recording my entire band practice tonight, to catch all the random banter which goes on between songs. And to hear how our new stuff sounds. We're going to cover Grand Theft Autumn at our show on Saturday, even though I had no idea how to play it before Sunday, and our drummer hadn't even heard it before then. So it could be really bad.


It'll be just like our first show again!

He kept me and Dan behind for like 15 mins after school the other day because we were on the computers (like everyone else) and he had told us tocopy and paste all the notes... he saw me talking to Dan and he went off on one haha. Then he was complaining that my notes were similar to Dans... : / When everyone had the same thing.

My band is going through a rough time, it sucks.
We are meant to play at my mates school's prom, but my drummers dad won't let us practice, and that's the only place we possibly could, so we are pretty screwed for that.
And it's right when we had done lots of new songs, better than anything we'd done before, and got a camcorder to record our crazy shenanigans.

What you should do, right, is get an electric drumkit and have that at someone else's house, with the amps. That's what we do... In my room (where I'm sat now) there are 2 guitar amps, a bass half-stack, and a pretty sizeable electric kit. It's pretty cool, and means we can practice whenever.

You could always practice at school if they have a music department and rooms for that kinda thing, and I'm sure they will have practice rooms you can book out in Manchester.

James : I've got the worst electric kit ever which we can't really use, and his dads pretty much refusing to let the drummer out as well, so that makes it even more difficult.

Kif : I go to a seperate school to the rest of the band, and I live in Southport where we can't find any practice rooms.

Can't you still visit other schools after they finish? That's what we always used to do. I'm sure they will let you or your bandmates in after school has finished.

Its hard to find a place to practice here too...
