Everytime I watch this I wet myself a little.

Every time I watch that, I laugh at how horrible Norma Jean is live.

And seriously, it's not fucking hard to scream consistently. Those guys seriously just need to spend 15 minutes reading up on how to do it right, and they'd be great.

illpressureurhinges1 01-05-2008 06:09 PM

Are they really that bad at screaming? Cause I didn't think they were.

RetiredAt21 01-05-2008 06:10 PM

I think they are pretty awful.

Considering how much more strained they sound live than on recording, and especially how bad Josh sounded at SOTU 2006, yeah.

"thanks for supporting southern rock"

i like the really obese guy sitting on stage on a really flimsy chair.

MY VOICE IS BLOWN
I CAN'T SCREAM
ANYMORE
AND NOW I ROLL
ON THE GROUND
LOOK HOW FAT

my interpretation of their performance of I Used To Hate Cell Phones... from that show.

RetiredAt21 01-05-2008 06:22 PM

Hahahahahahaha

I seriously feel so embarassed for Josh Scogin whenever I see a live performance of him.

Seems like somebody has hearing issues!

Monticello 01-05-2008 07:07 PM

I just listened to Skycamefalling 10.21. The vocals were a bit off-putting at first, but I got past that so it was really good.

i am the robots 01-05-2008 07:33 PM

Good man. An Ocean Apart is such a goddamn good aong.

And the vocals actually grow on you, they fit well, and the lyrics and delivery are awesome.

btw, Skycamefalling is the band in me avatar. :)

Monticello 01-05-2008 07:52 PM

Yeah, I can definitely see it becoming one of my favourites soon. The instrumental tracks are surprisingly peaceful, which was great.

And that looks like an awesome gig.

i am the robots 01-05-2008 07:59 PM

Oh God, UG makes me lawl.

"All of those bands are breakthrough bands, you'll find much better metal that's very similar in time, don't worry."

"Breakthrough bands? You listen to metalcore!"

I meant song and said album, ugh. It's the last song on 10.21.

AILD's new album is called An Ocean Between Us.

LifeInABox 01-05-2008 09:12 PM

Oh, right.

i am the robots 01-05-2008 09:13 PM
