I had a very similar thing. We were in maths doing quadratic equations, and I said I needed help because I had no idea how to solve quadratic equations. So he comes over, explains it, and then I just keep staring at the page of figures trying to figure wtf was going on. After 15 seconds he said "Thats it Jezen give my your diary!"
"Uhh..why?!?!?"
"For sleeping while I was explaining something to you"
"What the hell?!? My eyes were open! I can repeat everything you said! What kind of crack are you injecting?"
"Detention"
"Prick"

Unlucky. My teachers would suck if i had any. I better go to bed, i have a funeral to attend in 9 hours and i gotta get ready and get there first

Hey guys. I'm not really a drummer(I would like to learn though), but regardless, I have a question.

In a lot of metalcore/hardcore breakdowns, the drums repeatedly hit this cymbal thing. They might throw in some double bass too, but you get my point?

My question is, what is that technique called?

I got to see some shop photos of my Maryland kit today, but I decided to not post them, and wait for you all to see them in all their glory. Plus the quality is kinda bad, but the drums look incredible so far. :thumb: 1-2 weeks now :)

DBJ - Is it possible for you to change my name on here??? It's pretty boring but i want to keep the same post count/stars etc... I only put it that simple because it was my name on everything/ my e mail but it's a big stupid seeing as we are all drummers. Just wondering. If not don't worry about it.
