hey i just have a general question for anyone. i always used mxtabs and i noticed it hasnt been working. then today when i tried it directed me to the forums, does anyone know if mxtabs got shut down or whats wrong with it?

They're illegal now, the music industry has taken action against tablature sites. So, no more mxtabs.net, it has most likely been shut down indefinetly.

So I don't know if this has already been asked, but this was brought up in the Metallica thread. If it's illegal to have tab sites such as MX, is this going to be like YSI links where we're not going to be able to post them in the forums?

edit: Oh yes, and it would be great if a mod could update the Links post. I was looking for the Community thread the other day
