I usually dcik around whith something else playing in the background low and stuff comes that way, usually i find myself building around scales and modes but they're only tools and so your not being a tool if you step outside of that scale (sorry for bad joke)

Convectuoso 05-31-2005 10:33 PM

coddingtown 05-31-2005 11:08 PM
oh i really want a djembe! how much was it (cause i know they can be quite expensive) and where did you get it??
$400 talked down to $310. I reccommend Earth Tribe percussion. Good guys :thumb:

good rats 06-01-2005 04:32 AM

It's all worked out pretty cheap as well. I could get that bass, delivered to me and all, for around teh same price as a MIM Standard Jazz.

good rats 06-01-2005 04:34 AM

Check the link now Kili.

Thunder Fingers 06-01-2005 04:35 AM

I'm not sure the red. What other colours do you guys think could look good? And I'm starting to love these Fender Japans, so cheap yet so good!

good rats 06-01-2005 04:45 AM

So I plan on getting that jazz, then later on down the line, If I liked there service and quality I'll get this...
http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/webshop/guitar/fender-j/kanda/pb5780us.htm

Thunder Fingers 06-01-2005 04:48 AM

if it had had the Black inlays i had gone for the red...

(maybe im gonna buy 2 jazzes from them next time and swap necks.. )

I dunno, Black usualy is a winner on Jazzes.. Natural also look nice on basses with that kinda inlays...

http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/webshop/guitar/fender-j/kanda/jb7594us.htm though this is currently my favourite Jazz bass of theirs...:p

Would you go rosewood or maple?

good rats 06-01-2005 04:49 AM

I really like that jazz, but I'm not a fan of the matching headstock...

good rats 06-01-2005 04:50 AM
Would you go rosewood or maple?
Maple. I prefer the look, and my bass at the moment has a rosewood fretboard, so I would like some variety.

Thunder Fingers 06-01-2005 04:51 AM

oh, the matching headstock is the reason i REALY love it...
