esp's are nice but imo they are a bit overpriced.

I barely practice with my band :(. That's OK though, because my guitarist is terrible and my drummer has a crappy set.

my band is crazy. Everyone in it are all very talented musicians. The only problem is our singer is a fag sometimes. HE only plays the songs he wants to play. Whenever i sugest some maiden the rest of the band agrees except for him. HE complains that he cant sing it, and the notes are to high. The worst partt is, after he puts down my ideas, he starts to tell us all to learn some alter bridge. What a fag.

me too, i was so desperate i sold my bass to my friend in the hope that he would learn it, needless to say he is the crappest bassist i've ever met, he's had it for over a year now and all he can play with me is the intro to the trooper and the intro to run to the hills.:upset:

What's wrong with grunge? Stop presuming that just because it is a grunge band it is going to be just like Nirvana. Joining a band you don't want to be in just to get attention is a bad thing to do too :(.

He sounds like a dick, as a singer I would never complain that I couldn't sing something, I would always have a go...who ever said that a cover has to be exactly the same?

I would complain if I thought the song sucked though, or the music didn't fit the band.

He could always try singing the songs in a lower register.

That's what I always did back when I thought my range was horrible. Then I realized my technique was all wrong and I could easily reach Bruce's notes. Eh, go figure.

nothing wrong with grunge except i dont wanna do all grunge since they arent the best at playingi might suggest some punk. but thing is im joining the band to try and get myself noticed more since my mate (also a bassist) started telling people i was ****e.

Started off as 5...Me (lead guitar), another guitarist, bassist, keyboardist/bassist, and drummer.

So far, I think we've lost the other guitarist, and the bassist and drummer seem to have disappeared off the radar.

So now it's me, the keyboardist (who's a better bassist, by the way...thats what he does now :p ) and a drum machine. It's actually a lot easier to write...less people to argue about ideas.

Well us bassists can't all be in charge like Steve, huh? Remember, the first couple of months Bruce was in the band, he almost left because he and Steve kept clashing for the position at the front of the stage. Eventually they got along, so you just gotta keep asserting yourself.
