i think dave mustaine should make it his business to learn how to sing
It's never gonna happen.

I don't really see a problem with his voice anyway.
Check it out! Track listing on Wikipedia (Although they shrunk it? :() looks intense.
It's full of shit. I mean c'mon, the last time I checked the tracklisting it was

1. United Abominations
2. Gears Of War
3. Washington's Next
4. Vermont's Next
5. New Hampshire's Next
6. New York's Next
7. South Carolina's Next
8. Arizona's Next
9. Colorado's Next
10. Florida's Next
11. California's Next
12. Yeeehaaaa!!!! (Japanese Bonus Track)

The only confirmed tracks are the 4 tracks listed atm and the song they are playing at gigs is Washington's Next, not Through the womb or some shit.

Jev 09-30-2006 10:39 AM

are you sure that tracklist weren't from Uncyclopedia?

GenuineImitation 09-30-2006 10:54 AM

I just saw Megadeth on thursday and I have one word to say about it:

"Whoa" - Neo

They were so great i was speechless after the show. My friend caught a Dave Mustaine pick and we were in the front row.

pate 09-30-2006 12:36 PM

I caught Glen Drover's pick at my show. He intentionally threw it to me, as we had been exchanging winks and sly grins throughout their set.

eug008 10-02-2006 03:47 AM

Guys, found a torrent with a Hi-Quality live recording of Washington's next + the gig. I'll post the song after I upload it.

Mother 10-02-2006 04:09 AM

is the torrent a Video or an audio??

eug008 10-02-2006 04:12 AM

Audio, but the quality is really good judging by the sample (still downloading). Should be done sooner or later.

ok heres the good quality version of the song

super

SailAway 10-02-2006 11:42 PM

I payed $30 to have my picture taken with them too. Its not a scam put in denver instead of the show you went and they have pics up from it. They are just really slow for some reason.

Chu 10-03-2006 04:21 AM

Jev 10-03-2006 10:40 AM
True, true. I'll still pick it up anyway.
That's the 2005 DVD right?

I wanted to get it to see Dream Theater and Nevermore. Jeff Loomis doesn't get enough credit. I was pissed when I read that Mustaine turned down Loomis when he auditioned for Megadeth.

Jev 10-05-2006 05:06 PM

Well think if Loomis got in Megadeth there might no have been Nevermore.

when did he audition?

pate 10-05-2006 05:13 PM

Before RIP. He was only something like 17, and he himself says that his playing wasn't great, so I doubt he'd have lasted long.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-05-2006 09:49 PM

I thought it was the audition for SFSGSW?

eug008 10-05-2006 10:33 PM

Yeah me too . I'm pretty sure he said that he was too young, so he hired his guitar teacher. (Jeff Young)

Apocalyptic Raids 10-05-2006 10:45 PM
Jeff Loomis tried out for Megadeth after Chris Poland was fired in 1987.
indeed

pate 10-05-2006 10:48 PM

SFSGSW totally slipped my mind. I knew it was after Poland, but skipped a step.

Chu 10-05-2006 10:53 PM
Yeah me too . I'm pretty sure he said that he was too young, so he hired his guitar teacher. (Jeff Young)
I would ****en love to have Jeff Young as a guitar teacher.

Jev 10-06-2006 08:47 AM

Wow, so Loomis was the guy Dave's referring to in the SFSGSW booklet where it says about some kid who couldn't play the solos, but he'd get his guitar teacher to teach him them.

Chu 10-06-2006 11:54 PM
Dave Mustaine has confirmed that the band's upcoming album, "United Abominations", will include a cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "Out on the Tiles".
Not really a Zeppelin fan, but it's still kinda cool, Mustaine's going back to where he began?

eug008 10-07-2006 12:06 AM

Interesting.

Lord Abortion 10-07-2006 11:18 AM

I finally heard washington's next...it sounds brilliant.

Deth 10-07-2006 11:29 AM
