I like The Vines too. But not as much as I did a little while ago. Winning Days just wasn't on the same level as Highly Evolved. I still like them though.

I'm heavily into the Pixies right now. I finally got [I]Come On Pilgrim[/I], and it's just reminded me why I love this band so godd[I]a[/I]mn much. [I]The Holiday Song[/I] is so good it makes me cry tears of awesomeness.

I HAVE! I just downloaded some yesterday, It's okay. It could grow on me in a bit though.

I've really been getting into Grandaddy in the past week or so. I've only downloaded like ten songs but I know I have to buy an album now. Most likely Sumday unless someonehas a better suggestion.

I'm continuing my Pixies binge. But I've also been listening to the Breeders, and Frank Black's solo work. Ya know, to keep it diverse.

Nice, I'm not crazy about the Breeders or the Catholics but they're definitely worth a listen every now and again. Cannonball is an awesome song. :)

Frank Black's self titled and "Teenager of the Year" are really good CDs. They're alot like [I]Trompe Le Monde[/I], but with more acoustic guitar.

I'm loving Midnite Vultures by Beck...a genius pop record. I'm also into Dälek, Joy Division, Calexico, Sneaker Pimps, The Cramps, Nine Inch Nails and Elysian Fiels today.

That whole E6 label is just evil though... (even though I happen to really like most of the bands)

Anyway, lately the album I've been listening to the most is Dorothy Ashby's "afro Harping". I'm playing a song in jazz band that sounds similar to one of the songs, so listening to this album is such a great excuse of "mental practice".

You see, while I really like most of the music on the E6 label, I greatly dislike how people worhsip a [i]label[/i]. They're the pride and joy of every closed minded indie kid, and it annoys me that apparently if you dislike one of the bands on that whole label, your opinion is suddenly invalid. So why did I call it evil? Simply for the fact that, in terms of music, it makes the narrow minded think they're even more high and mighty.

I was actually referring to Zappa's comment dude.
