My fist cigarette was a Nepalese K2. That thing killed!
a 100, is a red only like an inch longer, so yeah. my first cigarette was a red. make sure you are sitting down O_O. i smoked one outside in the snow and i fell on my ***. those reds are not wussy cigarettes
Those sound like Export A green's.
Full flavour cigs are deadly.
hmm just watch yourself, i started smoking to get an addiction then break it, just because i couldnt figure out why people got addicted to cigarettes. so in a week i smoked a pack, then went a long time without any no problem. then i started smoking again over the summer, and now its geetting harder to quit, but its still doable as long as i dont buy more
That's what I initially wanted to do, but I figured it's a dumb idea. I don't want to become addicted, I just want to try it.

As I said, I'm lucky to have what seems to be regarded as one of the best cigarettes in my house, so I jumped on my chance and took one.

I don't know when I'll smoke it, but I will when the time is right... it won't be too far in the future.

G5's are awsome, I just don't know why he would want to buy 2 year old technology. I sent him a PM back calling him a douche and told him that if he acted like a douche again that we were really going to have some issues. So I am expecting to get banned from TB soon. But he deleted the post so he has nothing to back up his side of the story.

I'm almost positive the pack was opened today.

Mostly, I just want to wait until I'm not sick anymore before I have it.

I like them, I still don't get why he would be insulted by that.
I don't think I could be a mod, I'd start deleting people's posts at random....Me and a positions of power have never worked out so hot.

Funny thing is that he said that he wanted a dual-core processor, but G5's never had dual-cores. If he tries to ban me I am going to talk to another mod about it. He is a douchelicker.

I still wouldn't go mac, unless I bought their new laptops. Compatibility is a huge issue right now.

I have a brand new macbook (well I got it in august). I haven't found anything that I can't run on it. Sometimes it just takes a little bit of looking. For recording and movie editing macs can not be beat.

I assume you're using OS X? About the looking....I haven't bought software in my life. I steal from the internet, or use the Windows stuff my parents have for theirs.

OS X 10.4.6. I am getting the new one as soon as it comes out, it is said the be the windows killer. The only software that I bought for mine was microsoft office (I know, microsoft, but I had to have office for school) and my parents bought that. Everything else that I have needed I have gotten off of the internet. Not that I have needed much, they come with so much stuff on them.

Consumer Re[orts Just did a review of computer and the Mac desktops didn't do too great although the labtops sweeped.
Consumer Re[orts Just did a review of computer and the Mac desktops didn't do too great although the labtops sweeped.
It all depends on what you want to use them for, if you want to use it for multimedia, mac desktops rule. If you just want it for day to day checking email/myspace/writing essays a PC is fine and does just as good of a job as a mac, a PC is also better for gaming (most games don't run on macs, but the ones that do run faster and better, the only reason that a PC is better for gaming is due to the fact that most games aren't compatible with macs). I bought a mac mainly because I want to do some audio and video editing and the battery life is way longer than any other laptop that I have found. If I really need to I can have my laptop last 8 hours on one charge, something that is nice for when I have it at school. Now that I have a mac I don't think that I would switch, that and I have had way to many problems with PCs in the past.

I prefer Windows layout anyway, but I would definitely buy a MacBook, because of it's ability to run Windows OS.
I too am leaving. Goodnight.

i use the mac skin on mozilla firefox.

I think everyone does, I have never seen anyone use firefox and not have it on. The real one for mac looks way cooler IMO.

Time for me to hit up the bed

This doesn't deserve its own thread, so I'll ask here.

The tone I want would be best described as Myung's tone In the song Vacant, after LaBrie starts singing. Trial of Tears and Beyond this life also have a good example of this tone. My bass won't do it for me (completely passive) but that'll be fixed.

What I want to know is- which preamp should I be looking at for this tone?

Demeter HBP-1
or
Ashdown ABM RPM-1 EVO II

Or something compeletly different?

I haven't played the demeter so i could really tell you about its tone, but the ashdown tone is normally very warm and works great with passive basses. I would check the reviews on harmoney central just so confirm.

What power amp are you useing?

Yashnaheen 10-18-2006 12:21 AM

Not sure yet, just doing some research to see how much I need to save, how to budget etc.

Something with 6L6 tubes more than likely.

ebe9 10-18-2006 12:40 AM

Morning all.

Well I have decided to try and get myself into drumming, more the snare based pipe band sort.
