It's the only album I've really been listening to this week.

Russell's Teapot 01-28-2008 11:41 AM

Just got the new album in the mail today. I'm playing this on my radio show tomorrow morning :p

Tyler 01-28-2008 11:43 AM

Rock. How's the packaging?

Dimmu Burger 01-28-2008 11:52 AM

I saw the Bloodmeat video on headbangers ball. Great song, decent video. I have the new album downloaded on my laptop but I haven't had the chance to put it on my iPod yet. I'm pretty pumped for that.

Pretty standard, the art in the booklet is basically a series of closeups of the cover art. My jewel case has little piece cracked off on the inside. But finally having the lyrics is awesome.

Tyler 01-28-2008 12:20 PM

I'm so jealous.

Jewel case? I was pretty sure it was a digipack...they were holding it on MTV.

Russell's Teapot 01-28-2008 12:27 PM

I saw that too, I was expecting a fold out digi-pak. Maybe it's different in Canada, or for different packages (with the posters and shirts).

Tyler 01-28-2008 12:28 PM

It's probably different in Canada, assuming you aren't in Canada. Different labels, different manufacturing companies.

I'll probably run out and get it (and some others) before class tomorrow, so I'll post back and see what I end up with.

Did you get the package with the poster and shirt?

Russell's Teapot 01-28-2008 03:16 PM

Nope, just the album itself.

illpressureurhinges1 01-28-2008 03:19 PM

O ok. I got the whole package, so hopefully it comes soon.

Dimmu Burger 01-28-2008 07:09 PM

Listening to Fortress for the first time, crap yeah!

LifeInABox 01-29-2008 02:34 PM

Anyone buy the hard copy yet?

Txus 01-29-2008 02:36 PM

you can have my hard one.

Sponer 01-29-2008 02:58 PM

I didn't get my copy. They're late.

I was gonna wait till I got the hard copy, but I guess I'm gonna download it now anyway.

illpressureurhinges1 01-29-2008 02:59 PM

Hopefully I get my order in the mail soon....

Tyler 01-29-2008 03:01 PM

gonna grab it after class, but ive technically had two legit copies since early december, so whatever.

Tyr 01-29-2008 03:06 PM

I still have to wait two more weeks 'til I get mine.

beans 01-29-2008 03:06 PM

i wonder if itll break into the billboard top sales, that would be cool

Tyler 01-29-2008 03:09 PM

It definitely wont. Kezia sold like 15,000 in two months though, so you never know. That's how big labels like Fagrant got in touch with them.

LifeInABox 01-29-2008 03:09 PM

Hah! I'm getting mine in little over an hour. I knew it would be late if I pre ordered it, so I smartly didn't!

that sucks

lol @ Fagrant

AA-12 01-29-2008 03:11 PM

Think I could pick this up at Target?

Depends on who you ordered it off of. UO will be late. Vagrant has gotten **** to people early.

How does that suck, bunit?

Josh, it's possible. Vagrant and Universal are massive respectively.

I thought the same thing, but I couldn't pass up the shirt.

Doubt it

illpressureurhinges1 01-29-2008 03:15 PM
Think I could pick this up at Target?
Possibly. I've seen some things I didn't expect to see there before, so you never know.

Against Miik! 01-29-2008 03:16 PM

Sometimes they do have a selection of like 10-15 "underground" albums. But I still doubt it.

illpressureurhinges1 01-29-2008 03:17 PM

You never know... If there's nowhere else to look, it's worth trying.

Tyler 01-29-2008 03:18 PM

Vagrant is hardly underground.

Also, it looks like they got what they were talking to me about, because both their albums are on Amazon for free for the time being.

Hopefully this pushes them to finish the tab book. Solid sales and the ability to feel like you're not being selfish rockstar pricks were all they really needed to keep going on it.
