Immolation, Skinless and a poopty local band. It was worth it.
Is that 17 Canadian dollars?

Tyler 11-22-2007 06:37 PM

17 Canadian is more than 17 American but I dont thick masscows is Canadian

masscows 11-22-2007 06:37 PM

No, but US and Canadian dollars are the same value now anyway.

LifeInABox 11-22-2007 06:37 PM

Hardly if Skinless and Suffocation were the best bands playing.

masscows 11-22-2007 06:38 PM

uhhh Immolation uhhhh

Toaster 11-22-2007 06:38 PM
Hardly if Skinless and Suffocation were the best bands playing.
But Immolation was playing, silly.

Dimmu Burger 11-22-2007 06:38 PM

Most of the shows i've been to have been around 12 dollars for a small club 3-5 band tour. I guess its not that much more, but still.

i am the robots 11-22-2007 06:39 PM

Shows I've been to normally range from $8-22, depending on bands and venues.

LifeInABox 11-22-2007 06:39 PM

SS was $20 for like 10 bands.

masscows 11-22-2007 06:40 PM

I probably pay $16 on average for tickets.

Dimmu Burger 11-22-2007 06:40 PM

That was a kickass 20 bucks right there. Great lineup.

LifeInABox 11-22-2007 06:41 PM

Yeah it was.

masscows 11-22-2007 06:41 PM

Yeah I had to take the SAT the morning after SS was at a club close to me so I missed it...

Toaster 11-22-2007 06:56 PM

If there are any Decrepit Birth fans here there is a track from the new album on their myspace. It's pretty damn wanky.

Tyler 11-22-2007 06:56 PM

Is the drumming still terrible?

i am the robots 11-22-2007 06:58 PM

It's not hooooooorrible anymore. They're still kinda gay though.

Toaster 11-22-2007 06:58 PM
Is the drumming still terrible?
The new drummer is more creative than Tim Yeung was on ATB (which is not saying too much), but it's still obviously modern death metal drumming haha.

I checked it out, its not bad stuff. I may pirate it.

i am the robots 11-22-2007 11:05 PM

I wouldn't, they're very boring imo.
Veil Of Maya is really good live, and this is a pic of me from their show:

Quite liked the Decrepit Birth; seemed somewhat tasteful and interesting (my prerequisites for enjoying tech death).

Pete 11-23-2007 09:10 AM

does anyone listen to Torchbearer ?

publicastration 11-23-2007 12:41 PM

I like that Decrepit Birth!

I thought they were brutal death though (I never heard them before).

Tyler 11-23-2007 12:45 PM

Decrepit sounds like a totally different band now. The drums are a lot better, too. Still a little too clicky but it's great to hear them do something other than blast for 3 minutes straight.

Now they just sound like a Mithras ripoff, but it's a start. I mean just listen to how horrible "And Time Begins" is compared to the new stuff.
