I was thinking today while i was out of getting Moby's new CD. If not for the actual CD, for the second ambience one. Is it worth buying?

I don't see what's so funny about me just finding out that I might have cancer.

ATM 04-07-2005 02:57 PM

isbjorn? That means ice bear right? :)

denboy 04-07-2005 02:57 PM

Cancer? I laughed at the Penguin joke you told
in general, not mike patton, you're another one. you've just made the list.
Ok.

How about this: In general, everything Mike Patton has made with anyone is crap. I've listened to every one of his works because my friend Aaron is a total fanboy of his and with every listen I dislike his work more. There's nothing wrong with thinking his work is crap. I'll put you on the Mike Patton Fanboy list.
This is my 1,000th post in this thread. Kewl.
Good lord. How did you figure that out?

Iai 04-07-2005 03:28 PM

I like Faith No More, never heard Mr. Bungle, never heard Lovage, and dislike almost everything else. I do want to check out Bungle and Lovage at some point though.

I'm still confused by the 'rating system' comment, unless it's to do with my RYM. (Hey, your ratings are worth more the closer your average score is to 3.5!)

When you go to the main forum page, it tells you how many posts are in the thread. That number is also a link - click it and t tells you who has posted in the thread, and how many times.

As long as I've been here, I think. Took me a while to notice it, though.
2 guys in my school died.
Woah, how did that happen?

Happymeal 04-07-2005 09:08 PM

Car crash last night. 'Tis a sad day indeed.

Little Man being Erased 04-07-2005 09:10 PM

Man, that sucks. Did you know them well? I knew a guy from my high school who died in a car crash just after we finished grade 12. It was very sad.

Bartender 04-07-2005 10:49 PM

Yeah, how well did you know them? It rather sucks whether you knew them or not, but still.

Some guy, a couple of years above me in school, was hit by a car whilst in Spain, and pretty badly injured (in a coma for a couple of months, and close to being permanently paralysed). Anyway, he was quite a bastard before the accident, but afterwards (not that I was a close friend of his or anything) he was a lot better to get along with, and more determined and headstrong (in a good way), and so on. I hesitate to call the accident a good thing, but I'd say he's a happier (and better, in his eyes if no one else's) person in general having had it happen.

Anyway, I've also got a general request for advice/light-shedding;

I ordered some stuff from Amazon a few days ago. All but one item was "usually dispatched within 24 hours", the one odd one out being 1-3 days. I paid the extra for first class (i.e. next day) delivery, rather than wait 3-5 days more for it to be delivered free, now; I got confirmation that it was dispatched on the 6th, but the estimated delivery date is 12th-13th..?

br3ad_man 04-08-2005 06:55 AM

Car crash's suck. I remember a few of them when I lived in America. My best friend's friend also died last year in a car crash. Sucked so much.

YEs it definitely is. The album is ok, pretty much the same all the way through, but nice stuff. The ambient disc owns. So hard.
